Mrs Nora Teo was a recipient of the prestigious President’s Award for Teachers. This award is the nation's highest accolade for the teaching fraternity and recognises teachers' commitment to the total development of students and their contribution to nation building. The award honours the recipients as exemplars who have demonstrated the passion, courage and perseverance to inspire and shape the nation's young. Mrs Nora Teo was also appointed by MOE as Master Teacher Level 2 in 2007, and then Principal Master Teacher in 2009. The appointment as Principal Master Teacher recognises her as a subject expert at national-level by MOE.
Miss Angeline Teo has a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (National University of Singapore), and was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Education by the National Institute of Education, Singapore. She has more than ten years of teaching experience in both local and overseas primary schools. While she was teaching in MOE, she was invited by Teachers’ Network to conduct workshops for MOE teachers. With a wealth of teaching experience behind her, Miss Angeline Teo has helped many students to achieve excellent grades in their academic studies.
Mr Max Tan Yew Meng was the Head of Mathematics Department of Hwa Chong Institution. He was also an Assessment Officer from the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) which collaborates with MOE on all national examinations, including PSLE, GCE O-Level and GCE A-Level. Being IBDP-trained, he was the Head of IB Mathematics in Shanghai Singapore International School and has taught in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), a top-ranking IB school in the world.
Mr Max Tan has a First-Class Honours in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He has won several awards for being the top Mathematics student during his undergraduate days. These awards include The Ven Dr D D Chelliah Gold Medal, Leong Teng Kiang Memorial Prize in Mathematics and Singapore Mathematical Society Medal and Prize.
