I have been teaching English, History and Social Studies and was seconded to the Ministry of Education, Educational Technology Division dedicated to developing IT resources to aid teaching in schools. I was also driving a project that required students to develop their own educational website by interacting with students from all over the world. This project known as ThinkQuest was very successful and was commended by the then Prime Minister Mr Goh Chock Tong. I have also assisted in populating over 300,000 resources for the Ministry's Digital Media Resources. I am a firm believer in incorporating IT in teaching and getting students to keep abreast of local events through news articles and online.
