From a small quaint shop house near East Coast Road, Smart Alley has now moved to the heart of the City, Orchard Road. Located at Centrepoint Mall (#04-03), the overall layout and design of the store has been retained to give it the same feel as the previous store. Smart Alley was established by siblings Gabriel and Sarah as both felt there was a lack of good, quality educational toys in Singapore. Both of them wanted to bring in toys and games which will help foster children’s imagination and creativity.

Just opened in July, the newly renovated Centrepoint branch holds a wider range of educational toys and products. Educational products available here range from Kumon exercise books, flashcards, story books and science kits. They also have a range of Phonics activity sets for children, starting from basic concepts such as letter & sound recognition to more advanced word building and sentence building.

For those young budding Einstein’s, look out for their range of Science kit sets: Spy Science, Kitchen Science and Magnet Science, just to name a few. There is also a weather kit for preschoolers, and a Primary Science Set with 10 easy to follow experiments. Looking for something fun to reward your child? Head to their Toys and Games section. Here you can find all sorts of educational toys and games for kids.
