A twenty five year old man from Alexandria is being charged with first degree murder after shooting a man numerous times and then fleeing the scene. A witness testified in court that he saw it happen, and police found a Beretta .22 semiautomatic handgun near the scene. The man murdered was a homeless thirty five year old and was found by the witness lying in the street with several bullet holes in his body. Seven bullets were found and removed from his body soon after.
