Adult incontinence is a topic that is rarely mentioned although many people are afflicted by the problem. Many women are told that adult incontinence is a normal part of the aging process but that is a myth. Adult incontinence does affect one tenth of adults over age 65 but the cause of the problem is different for most people.

However, there are pelvic floor exercises that can strengthen pelvic muscles. Pelvic floor muscles are usually not even noticed as long as they function properly.
