Coffee Machines For Sale

    View:
Leaving aside oil and wheat, we must say that coffee is on the third place in the world as an important traded commodity, and, judging by its quantity, it has the first place in the North American food products import. Moreover, we can describe it as a source of export in the developing countries. At this moment, coffee plantations cover about eleven million hectares of the world’s total area of farms, and approximately twenty million families work in the coffee making industry. That is why, generally, coffee is very important worldwide, found in every home in the world.

After the collecting of coffee crops, its way to the final consumers is very long. Coffee passes through a number of processes and intermediary exporters and, of course, importers. First, it leaves from the producers going to the intermediary exporters, and then to the importers. Next, the roasters, and then the tradesmen handle it; eventually, it arrives to the consumers. Even if it seems a long and difficult way, this is the usual and logical path of the coffee beans, which end up ground and attractively wrapped.

Yet after this long way, once they reach the hundreds of millions of homes, the coffee grounds pass through a last chemical process. Preparing the coffee has never been so easy ever since the development of coffee and espresso machines. Although the first coffee percolators were big and very hard to handle, the development of the coffee machines industry has made their utilization very easy. After the Second World War, the metal parts found their replacements in glass and Pyrex ones, lighter, unbreakable and even more attractive. These changes have brought only favorable appreciations from the consumers, and, in this manner, the industry of coffee machines has been and is still increasing day by day.

Nevertheless, referring a little more to what coffee machines really are, we must say that their basic and most important characteristic is that they work, most of them, on electricity. The electricity generates enough caloric power to heat the water to its boiling point, so that under pressure it can mix automatically with the coffee grounds.

The starting point of coffee machines is the first manual percolator, which worked under high temperatures, developed with the use of fire. The “Biggin", as people had labeled it, had its origins in 18th century France. Of course, the biggest importance in creating a coffee machine is its electrical source, but the materials from which people made it are also important for the maintaining of some industrial standards, which, unfortunately for the producers, develop every year. The temperature of heating, the materials from which people make coffee and espresso machines, the brewing time and the quality of the mixed coffee flavor are the most important characteristics that a consumer should expect.

The usage of both coffee machines and espresso machines bears the influence of the machine’s type and, of course, of the consumers, who come from different cultures and environments. Espresso machines are particularly preferable if you have a taste for stronger and creamier coffee. However, there are coffee makers that, even nowadays, do not use electricity. These are the modern percolators.

Overall, electrical or non-electrical, coffee makers have a very powerful industry that is, as the genuine coffee industry, in a continuous development. Their great utility, low costs and high standards of quality give them a very important place in every home in the world.
Coffee Machines For Sale
are some of the most common home or office coffee and espresso machines used today. These machines are used for producing quality espresso and other beverages such as tea and milk based beverages. In a nutshell, the capsules of each type of capsule system contain a premeasured amount of sealed ground coffee. Those single use capsules are inserted into the machines, which when operated, pierce the top part of the capsules to allow the hot water to flow through with high pressure. The hot water flow extracts the beverage to the cup. Each capsule is used once and then disposed of. The most famous capsule system is the Nespresso capsule system, developed by Nestle. Other well known capsule systems include Caffitaly, Tassimo, Keurig, Lavazza and Senseo.

A bunch of capsule systems are marketed worldwide, with their own unique capsule technology. This means that capsules of each system (Tassimo T-Discs, Keurig K-Cups, Nespresso capsules, etc.) have unique shapes and structures. But the idea is the same for all capsules. The consequence is that for each capsule system a limited variety of coffee machines, that are able to handle the system's unique capsules, are available. For example, a Magimix Nespresso M100 Coffee Maker is a coffee maker, made by Magimix, for the Nespresso capsules system. This coffee machine is great for producing quality espresso from Nespresso capsules, but has no use if one only has a capsule from the Caffitaly capsule system.

So capsules are sold in many shapes and flavors. This is why I wanted to put together this article, to make some things a little clearer for those of you who are thinking about buying a coffee maker for your home. Here is a summary of the most popular capsules systems:

- A capsule system for making espresso and other coffee, and tea drinks in home espresso machines designed for the Caffitaly system. The system was developed by the Italian company Gaggia. The Caffitaly capsule has two small filters. The coffee is extracted as the high pressure water passes through the grounded coffee and the filters in the capsule. Caffitaly capsules are found in the world though different manufacturers, which brand the capsules in a different ways, but the capsules are always the same.

Among the Gaggia coffee makers which use the Caffitaly system you can find the K111d Gaggia Caffitaly, L'Amante Gaggia Caffitaly and the new Caffitaly Nautilus.

? The capsules of the Nespresso System are made of pressed aluminum foil. The top and sides are made of a thick layer, and the base is covered with a thinner layer. After the top is pierced and the machine activated, pressurized hot water runs into the top of the capsule, which in turn causes the bottom of the capsule (thinner layer) to bow out, and finally be pierced by the machine. This way the brewed coffee can flow into the cup.

Among the popular coffee makers which use the Nespresso system are the Magimix Nespresso M100, Siemens Nespresso TK911 and many more.

- This system's pods have drinks that include milk, such as cappuccino. The capsules are called T-Discs and have a bar code printed on their label. The Tassimo machine read the bar code to calculate the amount of water, brewing time, and temperature for the specific beverage. The brewing process takes between 30-60 seconds. Discs containing milk use UHT milk, not powdered milk.

The newer coffee makers which use the Tassimo system include the Bosch Tassimo TAS4011GB Multi-Beverage Machine and other models by Bosch.

The Senseo System - Another capsule system for coffee makers made by Philips and Douwe Egberts. , a subsidiary of Sara Lee Corporation. The three main characteristics of the system are its coffee pods (called pads in some countries), its design and its easy to use system.

Models that utilize this system include the Philips HD7816/50.

There are more systems, like the Keurig system with it's K-Cup portion cups, Flavia with it's filter packs, and more.

You should definately check locally to see which company has better service for ordering capsules online or buying them at local shops. to ask any questions you may have about capsule system coffee machines, or about any other coffee related subjects.
