Getting the best out of your memory card

Buy the fastest memory card you can afford. Fast cards mean you are less likely to miss action shots while the image is being written to the card. Faster cards also offer faster download times.

Test your new cards out before going on holiday. Its best to check a new memory card before a shooting trip as chances are, if it will fail, it will fail early in its life. So format the card in your camera and take a few test shoots.
