The Last verse in chapter (40) of the Old Testament talks about the chief butler did not remember Joseph.



The Last verse in chapter (40) of the New Testament talks about they did cast in of their abundance; but she did cast of her want.

The Last verse in chapter (40) of the Noble Quran talks about the law of the accepted faith. When the Lord's punishment comes, the faith of the disbelievers, if they have no faith before it, will not be accepted. This law is not found in the Bible.

Old Testament:

Chapter 40 in the Old Testament is Genesis (40); it is composed of 23 verses.

The Last verse is that number 23

It says:

Genesis 40: 23 (King James Version)

23)" Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him."

The verse is talking about the chief butler did not remember Joseph.

New Testament

Chapter 40 in the New Testament is Mark 12; it is composed of 44 verses.

The Last verse is that number 44

It says:

Mark 12: 44 (King James Version)

44) " For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living."

The verse is talking about they did cast in of their abundance; but she did cast of her want.

In this verse, "they" stands for the Hypocrite Jewish Priests while "she" stands for a woman which had faith.

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 40 in the Noble Quran is GHAFIR (THE FORGIVER); it is composed of 85 verses.

The Last verse is that number 85

It says:

AL-ANKABOOT 40: 85

85) " but their professing the faith when they (actually) saw our punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's way of dealing with his servants (from the most ancient times). and even thus did the rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)!".

The verse is talking about the law of the accepted faith. When the Lord's punishment comes, the faith of the disbelievers, if they have no faith before it, will not be accepted. This law is not found in the Bible.

The verse indicates that the disbelievers' faith was of no benefit to them when they saw Allah's doom which came to destroy them, for faith upon the advent of Allah's punishment is of no value;

It is also said that such faith avails the person who declares it, just as repentance in such a moment benefits.

This is Allah's law which has ever taken course for his Bondsmen among all communities, which is that faith is of no benefit to them once the chastisement has been sent down. That He sends His punishment upon them whenever they disbelieve, and rejects faith and repentance upon the advent of Allah's punishment.

And then the disbelievers in Allah will be ruined when the punishment comes to them'. Indeed the disbelievers will be losers; it is thence that] their status as losers will become apparent to all of mankind

It follows that, when the Lord's punishment comes, the faith of the disbelievers, if they have no faith before it, will not be accepted. This is the law of the accepted faith; this law is not found in the Bible.
