Look at this great example: I I used to listen to Hard Rock and was extremely wild, mischievous, energetic, and fun! Today I am more mature, I listen to lighter music and I am more relaxed, laid back, careless, and less energetic.

I know from experience that metal music gets my blood rushing, my heart pounding, my pulse pulsing. It kicks me into overdrive! How does t make you feel when you listen to music? I am generally feeling very classy, sophisticated, makes me feel like learning, reading a novel, enriching my life. It is a totally different mood it puts me in. What does it do for you?

It is a true statement that a happier person lives longer and is in better health than someone who is always worried, miserable, and unhappy. What about those feel good movies? Next time you get a chance, watch Disney's Enchanted? It is a musical all in its own that has light, fluffy, dance in the street, hug your neighbor, sweet music. It makes me feel extremely caring and uncharacteristically in the mood to kiss a chipmunk. The writers knew what they were doing with this. As with most Disney movies the music is crucial. It puts the audience in a positive mind frame and gives them something to look forward to.
What about action movies, what type of music do they focus on? Would you say techno, heavy, fast paced rock soundtrack? Look at one of the best action movies ever ? The Matrix. The theme song is a fast paced bass guitar riff. It puts me in the mood to kick some butt! Not necessarily a positive mood, but still, makes me happy at that time.
