Madison Heights, Michigan, June 12, 2007 - In just over a month, eScavengers.com has experienced a successful launch, with an excellent response from the public. Having gained over 3,000 members in a short period of time, they are on their way to becoming the internet's premier online scavenger hunt site. eScavengers.com hosts online scavenger hunts that members can join free of charge to compete for valuable prizes. The "adventurous" web site is exiting its Beta 2.0 stage and entering into its highly anticipated version 3.0. To date, the site together with its sponsors has run 28 "Adventures" and given away over $18,000 in prizes. As of Tuesday, June 12th, the site boasts over 3.8 million hits and 56,000 unique visitors.
"We've been reaching a consumer base that's spread throughout the nation, and even internationally," says Zac Ball, co-owner of Way Creative Media, LLC, the creators of eScavengers. In response to a user from the UK's comment that Adventure times over there were "awkward", Zac explains that, "when the time comes that we have enough sponsors, we will be running Adventures at all times of the day to accommodate an even larger pool of players." Currently the site is offering an average of two Adventures per week, but plans to eventually host them daily.
The prizes handed out have also been varied on a large scale. Giveaways have included Nintendo Wiis, Sony PSPs, a Philips 42" plasma HDTV, digital cameras, laptops and computers, printers, iPods, jewelry, tools, household items, sporting equipment, and hundreds of dollars in gift cards. These items and more are what draw users to join and compete. "As more users sign up, more sponsors jump on board, and so on," explains Ball.
An adventurer from the friendly online community Gottabet commented, "I think it's [eScavengers] very likely to grow rapidly and become hugely popular? your site is up there with the best I've seen!" The development team at Way Creative agrees, and remarks that things will only get better. They have planned for version 3.0 to include an online blog/forum, a referral program and a messaging center.
Full Speed Ahead Crankset
To build traffic of the internet, you have to market the site every day by inviting many users to join, and leave comments in order to keep their page active. Traffic is defined by Oxford dictionary as "moving on a public highway, the movement of, the transportation of, the messages or signals transmitted through a communications system, dealings or communications between people." And that is exactly what one needs to do on the internet.
Stay in motion and keep moving details and facts throughout the internet. If socializing, chatting or mere typing a good graphic comment, traffic entails you being busy and constantly promoting the site as well as what you can offer others. Be sure to put your link on their comment or message board.
To generate more traffic on your website, use queues. They will maximize the visual aesthetics of your site by providing an neat layout, colors that coordinate, appealing photographs and attractive pictures. Add some interesting information, quizzes, games and videos. Prepare a blog having some jokes, short stories, local events, recipies and important tips. When you are trying to capture a reader's attention, use creative words along with pertinent information. Be sure to create an entertaining site that bored surfers will check out. Should they enjoy your site, it's possible that they may leave a comment.
Then, go into chat rooms and casually chat with other people, introducing yourself with a link and an explanation of your site. Act natural, and relaxed and use language that anyone can understand. You are trying to get through as many people as you can. Get people's emails and invite them to join your traffic site, groups and other profile pages.
All email accounts should be checked daily and replied to within no more then 24 hours using a friendly but professional style. Strike up acquaintances with some of the people, particularly if you share any interests or hobbies. You will begin writing to each other until you become close companions on the internet, working side-by-side to promote each others' sites.
When someone invites you to join a web site or contribute to a page, take advantage of that offer. The more communities that you join, the wider you can advertise. Give links to your sites on all the website pages.
To attract traffic, you should add tags and keywords to links and website pages. As you get to know many internet people, you will know what most are interested in. Appeal to your audience's entertainment preferences. Write blogs that they would want to read. Encourage them to look it over and post remarks on your blog pages. Make sure your site and pages are interactive, friendly and fun. Generally people who log on to web are either looking for information or entertainment. Encourage their return visit by providing the information and environment they crave.
