Close to Colorado Springs there is a place where you can go into the earth where time has no importance; into a world developed over millions of years. Listen to the fascinating history of the Cave of the Winds and its discovery more than 100 years ago. The Discovery Tour is a 45 minute guided walking tour, about half of a mile in length. If this isn't enough adventure for you there is a way to step back into the abyss of time to the Old West. The Flying W Ranch is an operational cattle ranch just north of the Garden of the Gods that focus on western food and entertainment. There are in excess of a dozen totally restored buildings equipped with genuine contents of the 1800's and early 1900's.
