This gets a little philosophical, but if you think about it, you'll know its true. The only thing you can really control in this world is yourself. Worrying about what your ex is doing, who they are with, whether they still love you and so on is pointless. Would it help you in any way if you knew they were out with someone else right this minute? Would the information do you any good at all, or just make you more stressed out? Does worrying about this do anything at all to help you get back together?
You can't change who your ex is with, what they are doing, how they feel about you. You can't control any of that. Suppose you knew your ex was at the coffee shop down the street with someone else right now. So what? What would you do, go down there and make a scene? How would that help you get back together? If anything, trying to interfere would just make it that much harder to bring back the love of your life. It might feel good in the moment, but you know you would regret it.
So don't think about who your ex is with right now. Don't worry about whether they still love you or not. Instead, focus on what you can control, which is yourself. When your mind is full of doubt and fear, it affects how you see the world and how you interact with others. It isn't a pretty scene. You surely know someone who is perpetually worrying and doubting everything. Is it attractive? Are they someone people want to be with? If your mind is constantly full of worry and doubt, you'll become more like that person. Why would your ex (or anyone else) want to be with you if you are like that?
Instead of fretting about your ex, concentrate on becoming the kind of person your ex would want to get back together with. Become the kind of person who attracts others to you. Try to become the best person you can be. People who have their act together like this are incredibly attractive to others. Your ex won't be the only one to notice. Follow this approach and your ex may soon be worrying about all the attention you are getting and wondering whether you even want to get back together with them!
Not only will you increase the chances that you will get back together, but you'll be a happier, healthier person who isn't plagued by doubts and fears. Whether or not you and your ex get back together in the end, your life will be better than if you continued to wallow in doubt and fear.
Get Back Together Again
In recent years it has become very commonplace for people to stack up credit card debt until it reaches uncontrollable levels. Sometimes a person's circumstances are suddenly changed and their debt that used to be under control becomes very difficult to reconcile. No doubt you have heard of someone with a similar experience.
Why so much debt?
Sometimes people end up in too much debt through no fault of their own. They may incur debt sensibly, but lose their jobs or become ill and unable to work. Unless they can find some way to bring their income back to the level that it was at, they could find themselves saddled with debt that they can no longer afford.
Poor financial management is another big reason why people get stuck in deep debt. Even though they do not have an income that could repay it, many credit card companies offer cards with high credit lines. Since they tend to be moderately easy to obtain, many people end up compiling debt on several different credit cards. They might afford their minimum monthly payment, but they are firmly planted in their debt for years to come thanks to interest charges.
Maintaining Debt at a Manageable Level
The best way to keep control over your debt is to not let it get out of hand in the first place. Shop around for the best possible interest rates, and keep your open accounts to a minimum. No one needs a pocketful of credit cards. One or two should be plenty.
When paying back your debt, making more than the minimum payment will prevent interest from accruing. The best thing to do is pay the balance in full each month. This will keep your credit in good shape and save you lots of money. If something comes up and you need to charge more than you can pay back in a month, stop charging until the balance is paid off.
How to get out of debt
Don't worry, if you are already feeling overwhelmed by your debt you can get rid of it. You need to recognize the problem before there is no longer time left to solve it. The majority of people are able to escape from debt themselves by disciplining themselves financially.
When you realize your debt is out of control, the first thing to do is stop taking on new debt. Then it's time to work out a budget, and start putting all of the money you can into paying off your debts. You'll need to at least make the minimum payment on everything each month, but what works best for most people is putting all of their extra money toward one debt until it's paid off, and then moving on to the next. Paying debts off in the order of highest to lowest interest is the least expensive course of action.
Being stuck in deep debt can be quite disconcerting. Keep in mind that you will probably be able to handle the situation yourself. If you find that you can't, be sure that you take advantage of assistance that is offered.
