There is probably no worse feeling than that of being dumped, and when that happened to me, too, I had no other thoughts but to get my ex girlfriend back. We didn't exactly say good-bye to the relationship, after all, not mutually at least, so I devised a plan which proved effective to get my ex girlfriend back.

Although you may be surprised at this, the first thing I did was to actually call her, wish her good things, and told her point blank that, indeed, the relationship was going nowhere anymore and that I agree with her that breaking up was the best thing to do. Interestingly this strategy was very effective in getting my ex girlfriend back.

This technique got her thinking twice about what she's lost; reverse psychology as they call it that became the first effective step in getting my ex GF back. I tried my best to sound cool and civil while talking to her then.

The next strategy that I used to get my ex GF back is called "the silent mode" or the "shut up". After calling her, I did not call her again. That made her think then that I am truly gone for good and she spent a lot of sleepless nights wondering if she was wrong in thinking that I am puerile.

Of course, I wasn't thoroughly enjoying myself when I did these two steps. I felt awful having to lie to her, but when I finally got her back, I resolved not to lie to her again. I am serious in getting back with an ex and I knew I couldn't play around with that.

The third and last strategy that I used is "playing hard to get" or in other words; "playing her role". I did not rush in getting back with her. I took everything slowly but surely. It's because I do not want us to return to that wrong path that we had crossed before which eventually led to a breakup.

After all these, I finally got my ex GF back, and I couldn't be happier. Love, indeed, is sweeter the second time around as they say.

If you’re wondering, “Can I get my ex girlfriend back?" then the breakup probably wasn’t so devastating that you think the relationship can’t be saved. You’ll have to hope she feels the same way. If any hurt was caused during the split that you should apologize for, now’s the time to say you’re sorry. Being sorry and sincerely showing it is a good first step.

Well, there’s no guarantee you’ll get back together, but the odds tilt more and more in your favor when you do things right. Show her how much you miss her, and how sorry you are. Just pay attention to what she does. Try to honestly express how you feel. Or pick flowers and present her with a bouquet you put together yourself.
