How can I tell what shape my face is? Pull your hair back off your face and tie it in a pony tail if you can or if it is short slick it back with water. Look straight in the mirror and trace the shape with a bar of soap or a crayon. Make sure to only trace your face following the hairline around your temples and forehead.
