But do you really think that all that money being collected by the city, and the insurance companies is being done out a real concern for safety? Do you really think that THEY think you doing 53 in 45 were a life and death danger to the community? Do you think the cop who wrote the ticket drives around in his personal life, never doing 40 in a 30, or 70 in a 55? I didn't think you were that stupid. We're off to a good start.
Speeding tickets are one of the most corrupt parts of our society. They are written because they are a huge revenue stream for the cities, and insurance companies that benefit from them. They are harassing you out of your hard earned money. It makes me sick!
Here's how deep the corruption goes. Officer is given the message to write more tickets, “The city needs the money”. He stations himself at a particular location and writes 10-20 tickets a day. The tickets represent $2,000 – $4,000 to the city (based on a $200 fine). Less than 1 in 10 people go to court and fight their tickets. So it is easy money for the city. Candy from a baby.
For those that show up in court, without a solid legal argument – you're doomed. The prosecutor and judge also know and understand that their job is to collect from you. So they aid the corruption, giving the officer the benefit of the doubt against any weak argument you make. I've seen people stand there with their Polaroid pictures of the locations, their drawings of the scene, the passengers they had in their car as witnesses. NONE of this will work! Why? Because those arguments are being made by regular people. They do not know how to put things in legal language, and support their arguments with legal foundation.
Here's the kicker. Do you know who bought the radar device for the Officer that used it on you that day? AUTO INSURANCE COMPANIES! That's right - auto insurance companies buy the equipment for Officers to use to catch “speeders”. They too are in on the game. Auto insurers stand to make a lot of money if you get a ticket, and the guy next to you gets a ticket, and so on and so on…So they help it happen! This is TOTAL corruption done under the guise of “safety”.
Here are some things to do:
1) If you know of a local area that is regularly used for ticket writing, drive a different route.
2) If you get pulled over and are asked by the Officer if you know how fast you were going – do not answer. Just say “no, please tell me how fast you think I was going”.

Hardest Game To Beat
In the game of tennis, it's always tough to play against opponents which are ranked higher than you. Of course, you'll feel the excitement, and it's easy to allow fear take your best game away. However, there are a couple of key points you can use to overcome this fear and to get the most out of your match. Here are a couple of mental points to remember, and how to use them to play smart against a higher ranked opponent.
Realize Who the Pressure Is On
Hey, when you go out there to play this great opponent, you need to realize one thing. Although you might think that all the pressure is on you, the fact is it's not. The pressure is on your opponent because people expect him or her to beat you. Your opponent is aware of this as well. He understands that he's the one who has to 'make it happen' and that he's the one who's got everything to lose. You, on the other hand, have nothing to lose and everything to gain by playing strategically and realizing who the pressure is really on.
You're Not Playing the Player
You're playing their reputation. In fact, you very well might be just as strong as they are in different areas of the game. However, because they have a better ranking than you, they're favored while you are not. So, use this to your advantage. Realize that they're simply a player just like you are. They also make mistakes just like you do. Remember that you're not already defeated simply because they are the favorite.
Control Your Nerves
If you're playing a higher ranked opponent, you need to realize one thing: they are used to playing lesser ranked opponents. They understand that you're going to be nervous and they have most likely learned how to take advantage of those nerves. Rather than playing as if you were the weaker player, just play like if you were playing against any other opponent. It's easy to allow your nerves to make you feel like you have to make serious super hits every single time. Instead, play normally and only make those super hits when you are absolutely sure that they will be successful.
Don't Show Your Fear
Because your opponent is accustomed to taking advantage of nerves, you should definitely not show the fact that you're nervous. There are ways to do this, and one of them is to minimize the eye contact between you and your opponent. Not looking at them will reduce the realization that they are ranked higher and will help you hide the fact that you're nervous from them. This will give you an upper hand in the game. In fact, if you appear to be as calm as you can be, your opponent might start wondering why you're not nervous. If you're lucky, in turn this will make your opponent get a good case of the nerves. This will also help you take control of the game.
