Healthier Alternatives To Caffiene

If you are somewhat like me; I ingest too much caffeine everyday I consume at least six or more servings of caffeine daily. It's much more than I should ingest in several days. I consume too much Coca Cola. That is the dilemma. It's not only loaded with too much sugar, it has too much caffeine as well. One cup of java in the morning to get your day started isn't going to harm you. If anything, it can assist in waking you up and become more alert. It can jump start your long day into something very worthwhile. Although, if you ingest too much caffeine, you can create the opposite effect you desire. It could drain your energy and make you become fatigued. It could create problems sleeping.



Caffeine is addictive, like any other drug. You can get hooked on it. I'm not saying you will become a crack head if you don't consume a cup of coffee. Anyone who is addicted to caffeine knows how it feels to get shakes when you don't have any in your system. This is the addictive quality. You are shaking because you are undergoing withdraw. Your body is craving the caffiene and alerting you.

Caffeine is a terrific pick me up. From the 1st morning cup of java to the extra pep it provides you in your energy drink, it can be very useful. The key is, you must use it correctly. You can't over use it. Caffeine could have very harmful side effects if not consumed properly. Studies indicate that drivers who believe they can substitute caffeine for healthy sleep are at risk to everyone on the road. Your reaction times are impaired and that may cause you to be involved in an accident.

The key is to understand the utilization of caffeine. If you are a somewhat tired in the evening time, a cup of joe is a terrific way to provide you with a little pep. If you are going to be using a chain saw, you should wait until you are fully alert to operate it. Don't fool yourself believing coffee will make you alert to operate it safely. If you are tired at work and don't want to ingest caffeine. There are a few things you can do to help you become alert.

Avoid foods high in frutcose (sugar). Don't get candy bar when feeling sluggish. Never drink sodas with your lunch. It might give you a burst of energy, but in the long run, it will make you become tired when the energy is depleted. I would suggest you keep some fresh fruit on hand for those times you feel sluggish. Keep an apple or two in your desk or some other fruit you can easily eat and not prepare. Maybe you can try pears, peaches, or blueberries. You may have to peel an orange, so a tangerine might be a better alternative since it's easier to peel.

Drinking juice is another great way to get that pep you are looking for. You should consider buying a juicer. They aren't too expensive and the benefits of fresh juice are well worth the money. Also, you can make different kinds of juices. You can make an apple and pear drink. There is no end to the kind of drinks you can make. Also, you don't have to worry about what is in them. You make it, you know it is 100% juice.

A serving of juice will help you regain your strength. It will give you the energy you need to get through the day. You might also want to drink juice with your lunch. If you do this instead of drinking sodas, you won't get burnt out as fast. Energy bars are a great thing if you have them on hand. Don't get ones that are full of sugar or honey. That will give you a burnt out feeling. Instead, go with something that is good for you. I have seen some chocolate covered energy bars, don't get this. Run like hell from these bars. It is a expensive candy bar.

Another alternative is to take a nap. This is a terrific way of increasing your energy level. You should avoid a high fat diet. If you consume too much fat content, it will assuredly drain your energy. It possibly can make you depressed. Depressed people won't have the energy they need to have.

The important thing regarding caffeine is: Consume a cup of java infrequently if you are feeling a little fatigued. Do not allow it to replace sleep. Don't believe you can function on the same level of caffeine as you are fully rested. Don't believe because you ingested two cups of Java it is safe to be behind the wheel of your car if you are very fatigued.
