When it comes to working out, and exercise, everyone loves to get the gears moving with some fast paced music. And when it comes to running, you need the perfect running shoes to help get you on your way. This is where the Apple Company and the Nike Company joined forces to create a shoe that would completely revolutionized the work out world. The shoe itself has a sensor in the sole that will let you know your running pace, your calorie burn, and your distance through your IPod. Not only that, you can keep track of everything you do through your computer!
When it came to the world of technology, digital cameras and video games had taken over, and it seemed like something might have been missing. Apple realized in 2001 that music was still in last place in the digital world. This is when the IPod was first created. The Apple Company decided right then and there that it was time to take the music world to the next level.
Just think about how easy it is to now listen to music, and not worry about having dozens of CD's! The IPod, depending on the size of the hard drive can hold at least 1,000 songs, that is about ten CD's! If you are looking for something that will hold every single song you have ever wanted in your life, look into the 30 GB or the 60 GB IPod. If you do not have that many songs, or do not want to pay for the amount of hard drive you might not use, then look into the Nano... (available from http://www.ipod--nano.org) The Nano comes with 1, 2, or 4 GB and also comes in an array of sleek colors! And last but not least is the infamous IPod Shuffle that has a flash memory of either 512 MB or 1 GB.
If you do a lot of traveling, and need something to help you get through those long flights, then check out the IPod with a color screen and video player. The IPod itself has a 2.5 inch color screen and can plug into your television to easily play your movies from your IPod!
When the Nano was introduced in 2005, it quickly took the place of the IPod mini that had been popular over the past few years. The IPod Nano has a color screen, planet clock as well as a stopwatch. If you are looking for some protection with your IPod, to help protect all of your hard drive's data, the Nano also comes equipped with a security code system as well.
When the Shuffle came around, the Apple Company had some serious selling to do. Because the Shuffle does not have a screen and it weighs about an ounce, Apple looked at their product at a different angle, and helped their consumers to look at the Shuffle from the same angle. The marketing campaign for the Shuffle was amazing and well planned out with slogans such as “Life is random” or “Give chance a chance”.
Before the IPod Nano, the IPod mini had become increasingly popular even though it was high in price. People still flocked to this model, and continued to fork over the money for it. Consumers loved to choose between the 5 colors that the mini came in as well as the click wheel that allowed you to steer and choose your song with just one hand.
Before the color screen IPods were introduced, there was an IPod photo. This model allowed you to view all of your photos, but it was quickly discontinued, once the color screen IPods was released.
When it comes to technology we are sometimes not as grateful for what we have. The Apple Company has completely revolutionized the way we hear our music. Look for more good things from Apple in the future!
History Of Apple Pie
Lets be real here, Apple is by far one of the leading and most popular brands out there, which is truly saying something, considering there's 5 million other ones trying to push their way through as well. In my eyes even though there are several different "popular" brands, there is definitely, without a doubt, a top 20, and Apple is in that top 20. Not only do they sell Mp3 players, audio devices, media devices, phones and laptops, but these products are quality assured, unlike other brands, Apple takes pride in their work.
For those that don't know who in the world Apple even is (shame on you), they were first established in 1976 and Incorporated in 1977, the original company was called Apple Computer Inc. In 2007 they dropped the word "computer" out of the company to show that the company isn't just a computer company anymore. They are also able to produce other items like the ones listed above, such as Mac, iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, iLife, iWork, Cinema Display and AirPort, among other things.
Here's a few little cool things you might not know about Apple -
The first logo wasn't the "rainbow Apple", instead it was a logo featuring Isaac Newton under the fabled apple tree. The rainbow Apple came in second and was used between 1976-1998, and the last logo that was used from 1998 to present has been the monochrome Apple, although I have seen the Apple logo on certain products out this year, it seems to have taken on a silvery color.
Apple's first slogan was "Byte into an Apple", and was coined in the 1970s. From then in 1997-2002 Apple started to use the slogan "Think Different" in advertising campaigns. The company also has specific slogans for specific products for example "i Think therefore iMac" was used in 1998 to promote the iMac.
Although Apple isn't completely "green" they are really trying to make the toxins and non-recyclable components in the computer more safe for the environment. In fact, they even decided in 2007 and 2008 to try and become a little more "green" by updating from cold cathode lamps to mercury free LEDs and arsenic free LCDs!
The Apple Newton was the first flop for Apple. The Newton was a PDA product that eventually ended up paving the way for other PDAs such as Palm Pilot and the new iPhone.
Revenue: $24.01 billion

As you can see, Apple has come a really long way and has had many different attempts at reinvention, rises and of course like all companies, falls. But this company in particular, seems to have pushed the tides by not only staying in the race, but beating out many of the other competitors. I think Apple is probably one of the most sincere companies out there. They don't just churn out products in order to profit from them unlike other unnamed sites and brands! This is a good company to go with if you just want a good quality product, or if you just have always been a huge Apple fan!
If you prefer another product or company over Apple, good ones to try would be Benq-Siemens Black Box, Motorola and Nokia. These two brands may not have a iPhone but they do have a lot of other really cool looking phones and other electronics that have been highly rated.
