Hoover Bagless Canister Vacuums

    View:
If you can't decide between an upright vacuum and a canister vacuum, and if you aren't really sure what the differences are, you're not alone. Most people think of canister vacuums as those vaguely tube-like cleaners with the long snouts that their mothers and grandmothers used. Vacuums have come a long way since that time, and there are better canisters out there. There are also upright vacuums, and what kind of flooring you have will help you determine which one you need. You also have another option in that you could get a central vacuum system. However, most people don't want these because they are more costly. If one came inside your home when it was built, great. If it didn't, you might not want to put one in because of the cost to install. If you have an older home, sometimes the walls are also very thin, and they won't hold the hoses for the central systems. Because of those kinds of issues, most people just want to have a regular upright or canister vacuum. And some people buy both.

If they have wall to wall carpet throughout most of their house and area rugs in some other areas, they might need both. Also, if they have draperies and upholstery that are delicate along with wall to wall carpet, they may need to have both vacuums. For most people, however, only one vacuum cleaner is needed. If they have wall to wall carpet, they probably want an upright vacuum. If they have area rugs and hard floors, they probably want a canister vacuum. These are the best choices for these types of flooring materials. Upright vacuum cleaners have a lot of motor power, so they have higher suction. They also have a wide cleaning path and many of them come with different attachments that can be used for all kinds of things. Canister vacuums don't have as much suction. Some people might think that they are weak vacuums, but actually they are designed to have a lower suction power. They handle things like draperies and upholstery really well because they don't damage the fabric of these items.

They are also used for wood and tile floors because they pick up dirt and debris from these kinds of surfaces, where they won't be able to pull hair and other items out of carpeting. They are also good for area rugs, however, because they work on these lower-pile carpets more easily than the thicker, heavier, wall-to-wall carpeting. No matter what type of flooring you have in your home, there will be a vacuum cleaner that will work for you. You just have to do some research and ensure that you get the right thing the first time, so that your floors will stay clean and you'll be able to keep them that way with a minimum of effort. If you try to clean wall to wall carpet with a canister vacuum, it won't get clean. If you try to clean area rugs with an upright vacuum, you could easily damage them. The same is true for upholstery and draperies, so be careful what you buy and make sure you get the right cleaner for your needs.
Hoover Bagless Canister Vacuums
There are a lot of different things that a person can do with a canister vacuum. Most people use upright vacuums because they have wall to wall carpet in their homes. For those people who have hardwood or tile floors, though, the canister vacuum is by far the best choice. These canister vacuums are much improved from the older ones used fifty or even twenty years ago. Their suction is stronger, but still light enough not to do damage. People who use them for their hard floors, though, also often know that they are used for many other applications. This is one of the reasons why they are so popular with homeowners. Even some people who have wall to wall carpet also own a canister vacuum in addition to their upright cleaning machine. They do this because they can use their upright to clean their floors and their canister to handle other issues such as upholstery, area rugs, and draperies. Upright vacuums have too much suction to clean these kinds of items effectively without damaging them.

Draperies are easily cleaned with a canister cleaning machine. It can remove dirt and pet hair quite effectively. Often times, homeowners do not even remove their draperies from the rods and the windows. They just hold the vacuum nozzle up to the draperies and vacuum everything off of them. Because of the light suction, the draperies themselves do not get pulled into the vacuum cleaner. This would typically happen with an upright vacuum due to the stronger motor and higher suction power. The same is true with upholstery and tapestries. These are often made from very delicate fabrics, especially if they are older pieces that have been passed down through generations of individuals. Naturally, the people who own these things would like to keep them clean, and they certainly do not want to damage them in the process. With a canister vacuum the damage can be avoided, and the items can be easily cleaned.

Upholstered items, tapestries, and draperies are not the only items that are usually cleaned with a canister vacuum. Area rugs are also often cleaned this way. They can be left on the floor and easily vacuumed. If a homeowner would try this with an upright vacuum, the rug could be pulled into the machine. This could damage not only the rug but the vacuum as well, and neither of those things would be pleasing to the homeowner. It is easy to avoid these kinds of problems by using the right equipment for the job. If a person remembers the differences between the two types of vacuums and uses them according to their strengths, there should be no problems. Doing this will help to ensure that cleaning chores go as smoothly as possible and provide a homeowner with more time for other pursuits. Most people would love to have more time to do things other than clean their homes, and being smart about what kind of vacuum is ultimately purchased is one of the best ways to address this issue.
