In the previous article we learned the power of “Money to Be Made Online" combined with powerful and life changing positive affirmations. In this article I’m going to outline why exactly you should care about changing your life with affirmations. Negatively charged affirmations can adversely affect how we think, react, and feel. Symptoms suc as depression, anger, lack of self esteem, are signs of negative affirmations ruling your sub conscious mind.



One the most detrimental setbacks is the dependence on others. Whether you depend on positive or negative statements from others, they’re both bad for your mental health. Take for example someone that is accustomed to verbal abuse, it becomes a habit they sub-consciously rely on to feel whole. In the future they’ll need to fill the gap once they leave home (assuming it was a parent abusing a child verbally), and are likely to find themselves in abusive relationships.

Another detrimental affect of negatively charged affirmations is low self-esteem. You can recognize these attributes by constantly checking to see how you feel about yourself. Did you just negatively affirm you’re overweight? Stressed out? Annoying? Lazy? Anything that you say negatively, and repeat daily, about yourself or self image is categorized as a negative affirmation.

There’s also what a psychologist would call “Immobilization", which is when you create a rigid belief system. This overly rigid and stubborn state of mind basically “immobilizes" you, and doesn’t allow you to take any chances. You’re sub-conscious was most likely overwhelmed by negative feedback and wants to “protect" from further punishment, and thus prevents you from wanting to make a change, freezes your feelings into a negative pattern, and convinces you that your only role in life is to be victimized, and you cannot escape. Ironically, by attempting to stay the same to avoid increased future punishment, it actually builds up and you end up feeling worse in the long run.

Other traits can develop such as “negativity" and “pessimism", you basically begin to believe you’re a worthless loser, a bum, or a failure. These beliefs soon become reality and you now live in you’re negatively affirmed reality. Most people are affected by pessimism and negativity at the same time, with pessimism being the outer form of negativity. Negativity is channeled inwards, and outwards. Inwards you believe negative things about yourself and pessimism you lose faith that anything can change.

Nothing’s worse than a person lost in the realm of self pity. It’s a sad state to be in, because you feel sorry for yourself, like it’s impossible for anyone to help, and is a symptom of extreme depression. Not only is it difficult to communicate with the outside world, but people may began to distance themselves from your negative behavior.

There are also many other side effects such as cynicism “yes but…", “the shield (similar to immobilizing yourself but more sever), and Fulfillment of the Prophecy. The latter is when you are always ranting and raving about how bad your life is, and the when it actually REALLY happens you shout out to everyone around “SEE!?" “My life sucks!" Sadly enough the reason your life sucks is because you’ve been affirming it for so long

Last but not least, the most sever case is classified as depression. Because of the symptoms above piling up into your life, you may even barrel into depression, and it can be dangerous, even suicidal. This is why I believe a class should be taught to every student about simple and practical psychology such as how to use affirmations and catch signs of poor mental health.
