Well, first we have to realistic. The fact is not all relationship can be saved or is even worth saving in the first place.



But the good news is most relationship can and should be saved and there are always things that you can do to increase your chances of success. You still have a chance to get back with your ex.

While it may seem obvious, or maybe not. But the first thing you can do to increase your chances of success is to avoid doing the things that will decrease your chances of success.

The reason I decided to mention this is because I know there are many men and women who tend to make certain common mistakes in the process of getting their ex back. Perhaps, the 2 most common ones are:

1)Calling your ex over and over again

This is perhaps the most common one. A typical scenario is when Tom tries to contact Jane.

Tom called Jane but she did not pick up the phone. Most probably, Jane is trying to avoid Tom. So, what happens?

Tom natural reaction is to panic. And what did Tom do? He keeps on calling Jane over and over again, hoping that Jane will eventually pick up the phone.

This is something that you should never do. You do not want to make the mistake that Tom made. There are better ways to get your ex back.

2)Arguing over the break up

Arguing seldom works, as far as I know. It doesn't work in relationship between men and women, and it probably doesn't work in other type of relationship as well.

Perhaps your ex boyfriend or girlfriend gives you some lame reasons for breaking up with you. You simply feel that the reasons given are unacceptable.

So you natural reaction is to argue about the reasons. You may try to convince your ex that he/she is wrong.

Unfortunately, this is not a debate. You are not going to win even if you win the argument. The fact is no one likes to be wrong. You don't want to win the argument and show that your ex is wrong.

In fact, you will be much better off to agree with the break up instead.
