Set a timeline to achieve them:
A. Your first 3 months: These will be goals to start your business. You will get x number of customers and clients per month. You will build a website and start a newsletter. You will join some affiliate programs to work up some initial income.
B. 3-6 months: Developing your business. You will increase the amount of customers or clients you will get, increase your list building efforts, and gain more subscribers. You will develop multiple streams of income and use multiple ways to promote your business.
C. 6 months to 1 year: You will still do all the previous goals and objectives. However, now you will be looking into new niche markets and developing new products and services.
2. Take action on your plan: it is very important not to just create a plan, but also to take action. Many plans are made, but few are implemented. This is because most of us are procrastinators. Do not do this, act on your plan as soon as you can. The sooner you act on your plan, the sooner you will be able to make money
3. List your priorities: List all the things you need to do and prioritize. See what needs to be done first and put them into your timelines for the first 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.
Organize your time carefully so that you can remain focused and achieve your objectives.
Make a daily and weekly schedule: Making a daily and weekly schedule is important. Make a list of weekly tasks from your original list of priorities and make a weekly schedule, then break this down and make a daily list of tasks. With this list you can then make a daily schedule.
The important thing is to stay focused and on task. Be determined to succeed and discipline yourself to stay on task. Remember to give yourself some time off to enjoy your life and do not let your business overwhelm you. You should be running your business, not letting your business run your life.

The time spent doing things should be closely monitored or an employee could be spending hours playing with a task that should only take minutes. There are different ways to keep track of time for employees. There are sign in/out sheets and there are computer programs that can keep track of what they are doing and how long they are doing it. Because time is money and you can't have employees wasting time, it would be like leaving the water in the sink running and then wondering why the water bill is so high.

A fully functioning computer system can track inventory, sales, and payroll. This can give the small business owner a good look at how the business is doing at any time. The best part of a computerized system is reports. There is software you can buy that can compile information from other areas of the computer and create a report that is easy to understand. This information can help make future decisions easier and save time.
