Stress is stress. For our greatest pity, stress is a part of everyday life. We all know that stress is the body's reaction to everyday tension and pressure. Stress can increase a lot of problems in our organism. Therefore, stress management is the important part of the survival of the every person in our everyday surroundings.
When I was a young girl, I usually gave myself a hot water shower if I have been under stress or if I have been in a bad mood. If this thing really didn't work then I grabbed some of my close friends and headed out for drinks. Sometimes it helps, but it is a very bad habit and I have finished with it. Now I am glad I don't go on spending spree when stressed, I would be bankrupt.
I am sure that my work is the cause of my stress. Yes, I like my company and my colleagues but sometimes my days are pretty stressful. I am positive that in most cases stress comes of thinking too much. In such situations stress makes me really restless, gloomy and upset. Anything could bore me but getting out of the stressful environment and just walking helps. I found that when I am stressed I do not like to watch TV or read books. Cleaning does not help me to relieve some anger and irritation. And of course I notice that when I am stress I am able to finish cleaning in less time than when I am on a normal mode.
I heard a lot about some strange methods to cope with stress; that someone makes dough to release stress or anger and then throw it in the air or beat it before baking.
But I prefer gardening, I put my favorite songs on while I do it and it helps me a lot. I love the smell of herbs and flowers. Sometimes making a phone call with my friend or jogging in the morning would make me feel good.
Sure I don't like to go to sleep with unfinished business or angry and my strong opinion that sex is the best cure of stress. I think it makes you happier in general. Once you start, you can get over the stress thing and you'll feel so much more relaxed afterwards. But there is an opposite situation with my boyfriend. He just refuses to have sex when he is in stress. I understand that stress can affect many parts of our body and that includes our sexual urges too.
Seriously! I just feel so awful when he doesn't want it. I know he feels bad but I love him just the same.

How To Release Stress
Life has a way of getting the best of us some days. Whether it's working too many hours, shuffling your kids all over town for their activities, taking care of your household, or dealing with personal or family matters, stress can take its toll on you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But there are simple steps you can take to combat stress, starting with the foods you eat.
Avoiding caffeine and alcohol is a good start when life's particularly stressful. Stimulants and depressants like these can both zap your energy and rob you of the fuel you need to successfully cope with tension. Sugary foods should also be avoided as well, as they cause your blood sugar levels to spike then dip rapidly, which can in turn make your energy levels spike and dip at the same rate.
However, there are several superfoods out there that provide you with the energy and nutrition your body needs to keep stress in check
Asparagus, which is high in folic acid, can help level out your moods. Folic acid and vitamin B are key players in producing serotonin, a chemical that gets you into a good mood.
And though we may hear negative things regarding red meat, it's actually a wise dinner option for a stressed-out family. Beef's high levels of iron, zinc and B vitamins not only help get you into a good mood, but help you stay there as well. Your local butcher can help you select lean cuts for the healthiest options
Milk really does a body good. Chock full of calcium, protein, antioxidants, and vitamins B2 and B12, it helps strengthen bones and promotes healthy cell regeneration. Paired with a healthy whole-grain cereal choice in the morning, low-fat milk is a great way to start your day and arm yourself to do battle with the stressors that await you. Cottage cheese is also another great dairy choice, and when coupled with a fruit that's high in vitamin C, it helps the body battle free radicals that run rampant during your most stressed periods.
Almonds are also an awesome choice when it comes to arming yourself against stress. They're high in magnesium, zinc, as well as vitamins B2, C, and E and unsaturated fats, all which are great warriors against free radicals, which have been shown to cause cancers and heart disease.
