How Well Does Bride Know Groom

    View:
- What are your key bridal make-up looks this season? with product examples There aren't really any key bridal looks at any time. Each bride is an individual whose personality should be reflected in how she looks. If you want to experiment with different make-up looks, do so a month or two before the big day so that you feel comfortable with any new look. You definitely don't want to leave it to your Wedding Day and don't do it any earlier unless you are certain your skin tone won't alter. For inspiration check out the different bridal magazines or even look to your favourite celebs for ideas.

NATURAL LOOK This look is just appropriate for someone who doesn't wear much make-up but wants to look polished on the day. Or for someone who wants an understated look. Commence with right foundation for your skin tone if you need it. Or skip straight to the Concealer Palette EYES - Apply Crytsal Taupe Eye Shine just to the lids. - Accent the outer corners with a the Powder Pencil in Brown Suede. - Finish off with Waterproof Mascara in Black CHEEKS - Give the cheeks a soft flush of colour with the Face Trio in Angelic. - Highlight cheek bones with a touch of shimmer from the Angelic Trio. LIPS - Apply Lip Base initially to keep your lip colour no longer. - Define the shape of your lips with the Natural Lip Pencil - Finish up with a touch of Soulmate Lip Shine. Complete the look with a dusting of Universal Yellow Powder just on your t-zone.

SUN KISSED This is a gorgeous look for a summer wedding. Begin with right foundation for your skin tone. Or skip straight to the Concealer Palette EYES - Using the Face Trio in Toffee. Dot the middle shade from the Trio along your cheekbones and blend with fingertips. Next dab the same colour on your eyelids and lips. Now using brush #2 from the Brush Set, sweep the powder from the Trio over the cheeks. Then, using brush #5, do the same over the eyelids. This intensifies the colour and makes it last longer. Define the eyes with the Powder Eye Pencils in Brown Suede. Simply etch along the base of the top lashes then, starting from the outer corners, apply halfway along the lower lashes. Next blend with your fingers or use brush # 4 from the Brush Set. Use the lightest shade from the Trio to accent under the arch of your brows and the tops of your cheekbones. Add Waterproof mascara. Complete the look with a touch of Incognito Lip Shine or Fudge Flip Kit.

EVENING LOOK A fantastic look, that's glamorous and striking without being over the top. Begin with right foundation for your skin tone. Or skip straight to the Concealer Palette EYES - Are kept simple, too much on the eyes can look dreadful if you shed a tear or two. -Apply a wash of sheer colour from the shimmer shade in any of the Face Trios all over the eye. -Add a sweep of Powder Eye Pencil in Ebony to the base of the top lashes. Go over with the Black / Silver Glitter Pencil for that WOW factor. -Finish off with Waterproof Mascara in Black. CHEEKS - Using fingers apply the middle shade from any of the Face Trios to the apples of the cheeks. -To strengthen the colour and make it long lasting apply a sweep of powder from the Trio over the cheeks. -Accent the tops of the cheek bones with a hint of the shimmer shade from the Trio. LIPS - Apply Lip Base initially to keep your lip colour no longer. - Define lips with the Natural Lip Pencil (this is a lip coloured lip pencil, so when your lip stick does fade you won't be left with an unsightly out line - Finish off with a touch of Lip Shine. Or create your own shade by mixing the colours in the Flip Kit.

DIRECTIVE LOOK This look is a directional make-up, that offers the bride a wearable catwalk feeling. This season there are alot of brights around. Commence with right foundation for your skin tone. Or skip straight to the Concealer Palette EYES - Apply a wash of colour to the lids using Crystal Amethyst Eye Shine. -Next add a sweep of Glitter Pencil in Purple / Silver to the base of the top lashes. -Finish with a generous coating of Waterproof Mascara in Black. CHEEKS - Need a flush of colour, apply the middle shade from the Angelic Face Trio to the apples of the cheeks and top with the Shimmer Stick in Bermuda for a healthy glow. -Highlight the cheek bones and down below the eyes with a sweep of Under Eye & Face Brightener. LIPS - Apply Lip Base initially to keep your lip colour on longer. - Lips are kept fresh and sheer by mixing any of the colours from the Bon Bon Flip Kit. - Should I do my own make-up or have it done for me? What are the potential pitfalls of each option? This is really a big consideration. A professional make-up artist can show you new ideas and products that you might not have considered. Having done on the day also allows you to sit back relax, get pampered and really enjoy the day. If your are using a professional make-up artist on the Big Day have a trial run well in advance so you feel confident and comfortable with your look. This is the time for any fine tuning. If you choose to do it yourself, why not take advantage of the many cosmetic companies who offer free bridal makeovers. That way you can pick and choose what's appropriate for you. take your time applying your make-up.. - Should I go for my usual daytime make-up on the big day? The appropriate tip I could and do give any bride is `look yourself', just more elegant. If you try to go heavier or softer than your regular make-up then you'll only feel uncomfortable on the day. And worst, you'll look back at the photos and dislike them. If you want to try out different looks then 2 or 3 months before your wedding is the time to start experimenting. You definitely don't want to leave it to your Wedding Day and don't do it any earlier unless you are certain your skin tone won't change. You should look like you only better. So, if you don't wear much make-up don't be tempted to pile it on and if you like your make-up strong don't opt for a soft natural look, you won't feel right. You should take into consideration your dress (the style), the time of day you are getting married, the flowers, any accessories and time of year. - What colours tend to look perfect on pale skin / olive-toned and black skins? This is a very difficult question to answer. These days there are no hard and fast rules. My perfect advice would be to book time with a make-up artist either at a cosmetic counter or privately so that you can experiment with different looks. Sometimes what you think won't work actually looks fantastic. How far do you think my wedding dress style should dictate my choice of make-up? The wedding dress style does play quite a big role in how your make-up should look. For example if your dress is soft and floaty and your make-up heavy with strong colours it would look wrong.

- What do I do if I discover a big blemish on the morning of my big day? Hiding blemishes 1) You only need to apply a small amount of concealer in order to cover spots and blemishes effectively. Start by applying an oil free foundation or a tinted moisturiser. 2) Next, using either a small brush or cotton bud, dot concealer on to the blemish. The yellow toned concealer will neutralise any redness. three) Finish off by patting gently with the Universal Yellow Powder. - How can I make sure my make-up stays put all day? To make your make-up last, you could try long lasting products (foundation, shadows, lipstick and waterproof mascara). Or you could try layering, that is applying a cream or cream to powder (eyeshadow & blush) first followed by a match powder (eyeshadow & blush). But most of all, whether you use long-lasting or regular products, take your time applying your make-up.. The Make -up Essentials for Every Bride: Your make-up doesn't need to be heavier than usual for the photos. Foundation: - even if you don't wear a foundation it's a good idea to use a light weight one to even out your complexion, photos and videos tend to show every little thing. - don't be tempted to apply a darker foundation to get a healthy glow it will look awful, opt for an all over false tan instead. Concealer: - The Concealer Palette is a must!! for dark circles or blemishes apply after foundation for the perfect results. Brighten your face and below your eyes with the Below Eye & Face Brightener. Powder: - in photos too much shine looks sweaty, even if you want a dewy look keep your t-zone mat. Simply sweep a little Universal Yellow Powder over your t-zone. Eyes: - waterproof mascara is a must!!! what ever the situation. - curl your lashes. - you might like to try waterproof or long-lasting shadows and liners. Like the Crystal Eye Shine in either Taupe or Amethyst. Cheeks: - try a cream blusher for a healthy flush of colour. - for a long lasting effect try layering cream and powder blushers in the same colour. The Face Trios are prefect for this. Lips: - apply a lip base first to keep lipstick or gloss on longer and to help prevent feathering. Use the Natural Lip Pencil and any of the Lip Shines or Flip Kits. Body: - try a scented body lotion mixed with any of the Shimmer Sticks makes the body look sensational.
How Well Does Bride Know Groom
In keeping with the notion of purity and innocence, pearls are a traditional wedding accessory, both for the bridal party and the bride herself. Lest that leave the bride-to-be feeling like she has no say in her jewelry choices, the following list of pearl options offers a means of customizing a long-time tradition.

Freshwater Pearls

Freshwater pearls are a common variety of the basic pearl and are famous for their diversity in terms of size, shape and color. Perhaps the best feature of the freshwater pearl is that despite its comparable beauty, it is less expensive than a saltwater pearl. Freshwater pearls are usually polished to expose their colors and subtle metallic overtones and can be found in every tone from slightly yellow to glistening black. Dyeing freshwater pearls is common practice and makes for consistent, striking pieces to be included together on a single piece of jewelry.

Keishi Pearls

Keishi pearls are the most distinctive-looking pearl you will see, due to their unique, uneven contours. Like the freshwater pearl, they come in many shapes and sizes, but the Keishi pearl is often flat or dimpled rather than perfectly circular, resulting in surfaces that can reflect the light in mysterious, unique ways. When strung together, Keishi Pearls create an accessory that boasts shimmer, texture and personality.

Coin Pearl

Also a freshwater pearl, the Coin Pearl looks just like its name - circular and flat like a disk, but with soft edges. Coin pearls make great pendants, earring drops and bracelet charms. Like all pearls, the coin pearl comes in a variety of colors, but is most commonly found in the traditional white. We suggest pairing the Coin Pearl with small, color-rich gemstones for a subtle match to your wedding's color theme.
