It is all about territory and dominance. Your physical appearance will only be a factor in two situations. Those situations are when other men are fighting for a woman's attention, and how you are using your dress to present yourself.



Physical attraction is primal. Because of this, physical attraction occurs on almost a subconscious level. So, while many men think women want a "sharp dressed man", your sharp dress is actually only in relation to the other men around you. The real attraction occurs when they subconsciously size up a man to see whether or not they would be a good match to bear their children.

Remember, this is on a subconscious level, so they are not actually thinking that when they see every man. So, if you are presenting yourself as a man who could stand up and take care of her, she will be more attracted to you.

If you are wearing a nice sweater around a bunch of sweaty construction workers with dirty shirts, you are the best dressed, and therefore, most attractive man in the room. If you are in the same outfit with a bunch of suits and ties, you are the worst dressed and most unappealing man in the room.

But this isn't the only factor, and that means that this rule can be broken. If you are dressed the same way as mentioned above in a room with a bunch of suits and ties, but display the highest male dominance, (i.e. most confidence, charisma, personality, and perceived status) you will actually be more attractive than the other men.

The real edge is your personality and how you present yourself. If you present yourself as a loser, you are a loser to women. If you present yourself as the most confident, charismatic man in the room, you are. Your personality is what will win the attention of women over your physical appearance.

Let's touch on a couple of other quick aspects of this subject. First, you don't have to have the most attractive facial features for a woman to be attracted to you. It is all about personality. You see it all the time. Average Joe's running around with stunning women.

Also, while your physical appearance isn't that big of a deal to women, hygiene is. That shows that you are willing to take time with your appearance. You take care of yourself and you care about things like that. Women are attracted to that. They don't like sweaty, smelly, dirty individuals with bad breath.

If you show yourself as a confident, charismatic person with a good personality, you will be set. Then, it doesn't matter who's taller, smarter, younger, richer, etc. in your surroundings. Remember to focus on how you present yourself, and not just only on how you look.
