For centuries hypnosis has been used in different cultures and in different societies to help individuals bring out their true potential. In American and Europe, what is sometimes seen by some as a fun and amusing spectacle is starting to become more recognized as a true healing tool. Researchers at different universities have proven the power of the mind to improve performance, happiness, and physical well being.



Neuroscience researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have studied meditation for it's ability to promote physical healing and improvements in well-being. Neuro Linguistic Programming incorporates a more full study of hypnotic language and various tools for communicating with the unconscious. Most of the original work in nlp has been entirely updated in what is called New Code nlp which returns the power of the unconscious to the individual who it belongs to and allows for unlimited creativity in an improvisational way.

Prior to the new coding of NLP, practitioners used strategies to create concrete changes in clients or replaced ineffective strategies with effective strategies. Much of nlp was focused around creating better strategies for life. With the advent of new code NLP, individuals had the opportunity of dispensing with all historical states and strategies and replacing them with high performance states. Peak performers at their best often enter into states which share certain characteristics. Among those are an ability to improvise and be free of past perceptions. Through games developed at NASA and elsewhere, participants can access these states and develop all strategies they need improvisational. This leads to exceptional behavioral flexibility and true responsiveness to environmental fluctuations. With the addition of these high performance states, one uses any form of accessing the unconscious, including hypnosis and hypnotic tools to set their intention for the behavior they would like to produce.

Many of these games have been described in John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St. Clare's book Whispering in the Wind, which is considered the masterwork on modeling in nlp. This allows the dispensing with of strategies and many other forms of old school nlp. The New Code of NLP is healing nlp and hypnosis, allowing it's true potential to come forth.
