Erectile dysfunction is caused when the blood flow in the penis is not sufficient to impart a proper erection, which is long enough to complete the intercourse during sexual activity. Men face problems in achieving an erection or they loose it during or before the sexual activity is completed. Some men have no erection at all.

Erectile dysfunction in the earlier times was not much spoken about. Men suffering from impotence seldom talked or discussed about it in public. Therefore, even today to quite an extent, men face embarrassment and develop inferiority complex and cannot talk or discuss this issue freely.
