While surfing the internet for some decent torrents I visited a site ExtraTorrent.com, I seen a lot of features which aren't usually implemented on other torrent sites I had previously seen. The layout of the site was what captured my attention, it has really good user friendly interface which is a first in my book, it was really to navigate my way around using the links on the main site page.



ExtraTorrent.com has a very fast load speed, its not sluggish or slow by any means, lots of images are used on the site, and are displayed and grouped very well, instead of having random images scattered, ExtraTorrent.com is a very clean site.

The server must be a state of the art machine, when using ExtraTorrent.com I had no problem in finding the site FAQ, very helpful and all help is in plain English for the advanced user and beginner. ExtraTorrent.com is a site that will appeal to everybody, all sections of the FAQ are laid out in order and very well researched. The site administrator's E-mail is clearly displayed in the FAQ section if I needed to E-mail them on any queries, which I did when I got stuck with my downloaded torrents, the site was very quick to respond. They replied with short and factual answers in English not computer jargon. ExtraTorrent.com also boasts a chat box, this is a feature I've never seen in any other torrent site I've visited, this is a really impressive gadget. Using the chat box you can talk to the site other members, discuss torrents. You don't have to wait on an E-mail or wait any length of time, someone is always there willing to help. Registration with the site is required and is free and worth it.

I also like the design of the main site of ExtraTorrent.com, there is no silly animations to slow down the server its using, the site uses no flash player applications this also slows down the site. I don't like using sites where it takes 5sec to change page, I want it instantly, with ExtraTorrent.com you get very fast speed. I liked the Hot Torrent section of the site, when I visited the site it was seen very quickly, they are displayed by images, I thought that was great. I clicked onto one of them out of curiosity and I was very impressed by the layout of the torrent information.

Information ranges from the trackers status such as if its still active or inactive, the torrent size, which files are contained with in the torrent, how many was downloaded and how many seeders there are. Links are also displayed very clearly for user comments and report a problem with torrent, I looked at the comments from users, very helpful and I noticed this too no user uses foul language, such as other torrent sites, users are very abusive. I liked the humor in some of their comments. ExtraTorrent.com is a site worthy being made your home page, it has a massive database boasting over 708288 torrents, very friendly interface, easy to use and above all very fast. Music torrents, movies torrents, games torrents, software torrents, iPod torrents, anime torrents, adult torrents - any you wish you can find there. The main site also has a forum where guests and members can discuss all sorts of things ranging from torrent problems through to chit chat, spamming and reporting fake torrents. Fake torrents are really annoying but ExtraTorrent.com has made a reference post explaining how to identify fake torrents. The main site also boasts two types of search engines, using a standard search you can browse through related torrents if not the exact match, when using the advanced search it boasts additional fields for other search criteria such as size, names within torrent and more which is very useful.

Links on the main site of ExtraTorrent.com are very easy to understand instead of thinking to yourself, is it that one or that, to be honest it doesn't matter if you choose the wrong link, the speed of the site is fast and to go back to your previous page takes no time at all. I liked the icons used for buttons and logos all linked to relevant places, such as the logo always brought me back to the main site page, whether in forum or looking at torrent information, navigation is super. Cleanly written out and all have alt tags. I found no dead links. Torrent lists are displayed in batches of 10, meaning that for every category you have 10 torrents shown, additional option to see all torrents, is also available. The torrent listing displays the technical info on the seeds and health of the torrent, and can be updated in the information section of the torrent found just by clicking on the torrent. Torrent categories are available through a drop down menu also shown on any page you visit of ExtraTorrent.com, you can also see which are the newest and the popular torrents. ExtraTorrent.com is a site I would recommend to anybody looking for torrents, it is a very well designed site, a lot of hard work and thought went into it, all this and the features I've mentioned in this article makes ExtraTorrent.com stand out from the crowd and takes torrent sites to a new level.
