After running the Internet MLM business for some time, I personally think that it is essential to own a website. I do understand that a lot of affiliate programs offer a generic website upon signing up and they are all great. There are still some great reasons to own and run your own Internet MLM website. 1.Professionalism

This is the nature of our business. If we work at home through internet, it is always better if we are running an Internet MLM website ourselves. The purpose of the website is to introduce yourself; to show your prospects that this person actually exist. There is email or phone call to contact if they have any questions or concerns regarding the business. Being skeptical is the first reaction for prospects when they are first introduce to this business. When they see your website, you are having greater chance to eliminate their skeptism.

2.Lead Capture/ Opt-in

Creating a lead capture page is another reason for you to own and run a website. Everyone that runs Internet MLM business knows that the signing rate of first exposure prospect is very low. When you have potential customer, you do not want them to go without leaving any contact information. You want to show them the solution to their problem. When prospects opt into your mailing list, they are interested to see what you can offer to solve their problem. At the same time, you can customize your email to introduce yourself and this work at home opportunity to them anytime until they opt out from your mailing list.

3.Provide Information

Another great reason to have a website is to provide information. Your website is like another channel to provide information to the public. You can put any information that you want on the website preferable sources regarding Internet MLM, Internet Marketing, Work at Home Opportunity and so on. If your prospects find valuable information from your website, they will come back and eventually join your journey to become successful.

4.Draw FREE Traffic

Once you have a running website, you can be listed on major search engine such as Google, Yahoo or MSN. These channels are very important for you to draw free traffic to your website. Generic website from affiliate programs do not have great chance to be listed in these major search engines’ index because everyone every one owns one. Every time when prospects type in key words such as Internet MLM, Work at Home, Home Based Business, Internet Marketing or Affiliate Programs, your website has a chance to appear in front of them. This means that you have a chance to generate income from FREE source.

5.Get Links

Link is very important to any internet marketer. The more links that you have on the internet, the greater chance for you to expand your business and network. If your link does not have any exposure to the internet, it is like having information stored in your vault. By having a website, you can exchange your link with other website to generate FREE traffic. Think about this, if you have 5 links with other website, and these 5 websites have 5 links to another 5 websites, you are actually having 25 links on the internet.

6.Broadcast Message

Your website is a great place to provide information to your member. Internet MLM business is the only business that allow you to run the entire business in your house from your computer over the world. How great is that? Without having a website, how are you going to pass on your message to all your members? You can do it by email but it is not as effective as posting on the website because by emailing, you only show to those who are in your contact. If you have a website, anyone can see the message and anyone has the potential to becoming part of your network.

Your website is your head quarter. You are actually promoting multiple affiliate programs or Internet MLM business together. As usual, the key to succeed in this business is being able to duplicate your sponsor. With a website, you are actually showing your down how you become successful in this business. By using a website to centralize all your affiliate programs, your downline will eventually join everything under you and make you more profitable. By using the website, you are actually showing your downline how you do it and they can copy you and get the same result.

8.Advertising/ Promotion

By having a website, you can actually feed Google ad into your website. When prospect clicks on the advertising link from your website, Google will pay you for allowing their customer to advertise on your website. This is done by joining Google Adsense. Besides Google ad, you can actually advertise your own banner such as Success University or GDI on your website. Any traffic that visits your website has a potential to becoming part of your network.

9.Education

You will not notice how much you learn until you have hands on experience on you website. I am always learning how to improve my website. By doing that, I am actually passing what I learnt to all my downline to improve their learning curve because I post everything that I done on the website. You are consistently educating yourself in order to keep your website fresh and loaded with current information. By no means, you are actually improving your business….:)

10.Have FUN

This is by far the most important reason. Without having fun, how are you going to learn new stuff? Without having fun, how are you going to spend at least 4 hours a week updating your website? Without having fun, how are you going to pass this to your downline so they can duplicate your result? Without having fun, how you can achieve long term success? Without having fun, how you can bank big bucks into your bank account?

A positive altitude causes a chain reaction of positive outcomes. It is a catalyst... a spark that creates extraordinary results!
