Like all sports golf too is played with the objective of winning the game. Players have to follow the general rules and regulations of the game. There is no written rule or gospel to preach such etiquette to the golf players. Forethought, conscious behavior and mutual respect will help the player to sustain himself in the game for long.

Respect others to get back the respect that you rightly deserve.

Carry yourself with ease and do not talk or laugh loudly. A decent behavior will go a long way in accessing your personality among the players and the viewers. Punctuality is a very imperative thing to follow especially when you are playing for tournaments or matches. Be in time or rather before the time allotted so that you can interact and get comfortable with the players and the coaches. Maintain complete silence when another player is focusing on his shot, and be ready to go for your shot without any delay. Leave the spot immediately making way for the next player after playing your shot.

Always maintain good relationship with the golf club members and administration people. Tip off the workers then and there, especially who offer to carry your bags around when you were playing the game and don't always be too serious about the game. After its just a game played to have fun and entertainment.
