The latest mobile phone of Motorola has been launched in the Indian market - MotoYuva W270. It promises to be a great mobile phone with not just good sound clarity but also features like inbuilt MP3 player with dedicated MP3 and FM keys. The keys can be used to increase and decrease the volume of music, switch between FM channels and change MP3 music tracks.
The W270 is actually the same as the W230 except that it has a flip style form factor. The Motorola W270 proves its value even further with music features that keep consumers connected and entertained, including a dedicated music key.
Consumers can make their ears dance with both an integrated digital audio player that supports MP3 and other accepted formats, and an FM radio with RDS that can be played in stereo through headphones or on the W270's office-quality internal speaker. Store favorite songs on optional removable microSD cards with up to 2GB of memory and download new songs over the air via quick GRPS speeds.
Other features are few and far between - this is a dual-band GSM phone (available in 900/1800 or 850/1900 MHz versions), with GPRS data (but no EDGE). There is a WAP browser, and the W270 can be connected up to a PC with a USB cable. A clue as to the potential market for the W270 is in the supported languages, many of which are from Africa or South Asia. The W270 does not support Bluetooth. The Motorola W270 is a Dual Band GSM handset with GPRS support, wap browser and USB connectivity.
There is a lot to be said for basic these days and Motorola seemed to have focused heavily recently on this end of the market, developing stylish handsets that carry small price tags yet with high quality key features.
