Writing articles that are centered on specific keywords and then submitting them to the article directories can send you traffic for a very long time. Although I would not necessarily focus my entire business on this method, I do make sure to submit at least a few articles every day and I see results from it.

Owning a List - If you have a list of people that you can market to regularly in your niche, you have a sustainable income all of its own. This can either be a traditional e-mail list or it can also be a list of followers in social media, such as on twitter or face book. Making sure that you build a relationship with these people as individuals will ensure that you have a business for a very long time, one that cannot be shut down because of shifts in the Internet that take you by surprise.
