Being devoted, Roksolana had even changed herreligion, and it was unbelievable step for a Christian girl of those times. Butlove was more important for her than anything else in the world.

Suleiman appreciated this devotedness andfaithfulness, and after rather long period of relationship he married hisbeloved woman and a true friend Roksolana. It was the first precedent ofsovereign's marriage in the history of Ottoman Empire.
