Even the worst artist can create exciting wall decor when shown how.
If, like me, you like projects that are quick and easy - you're going to like this.
It's only a small shopping list:
* A couple of box canvases from an artist supply store - the cheapest they have will do fine.
* Enough fabric - either new or used but clean - to cover the canvas(es).
* One of my favorite craft tools - a staple gun.
If the fabric is at all creased you will need to iron or press it first as it needs to be wrinkle-free. Cut the fabric to the size of the canvas plus the depth of the canvas with a couple of inches extra. Simply lay the fabric, good side down, on a table or other surface and place the canvas, also good side down, on top of the fabric.
As tightly as you can, pull the fabric round to the back of the frame and staple to the wood. Just tuck in the corners as neatly as you can - as if you were wrapping a present. It doesn't matter if the back is neat or not as it won't be seen but if there is a lot of spare fabric now at the back, trim it to near the staple or else it won't hang flat against the wall.
The most important thing is that the fabric is pulled tightly so there are no wrinkles or bagging visible on the front of your 'work of art'.
Depending on the size of the canvas you may find it easier with someone to help you as it is not always easy to pull tightly and staple at the same time.
If you have made drapes or cushions for a room, this is a nice way to use the excess fabric as the only cost is a cheap fabric and the end result is a very co-ordinated look. it also works well with upholstery fabrics as you can achieve a look like a tapestry - the corners can be a bit tricky though with a very thick fabric.
Have you ever bought a bed-in-a-bag set and had unwanted pieces? They can now be turned into stylish bedroom wall decor. Rather than use something that is exactly the same as your bed cover, it looks great if you have fabric that is the reverse of the colors - e.g. pink flowers on a blue background and blue flowers on a pink background.
Michelangelo Works Of Art
In fashion, the ideal handbag is something that is vital, yet elusive. It should be both a fashion, but not too gaudy or garish, and certainly not just one of the season passing trends. Prada handbags were known for their great class, elegance and quality, and for many years have been celebrated as the best handbag. More than just a bag to put your business, these handbags are portable, works of art.
These beautiful handbags are products of the Prada Company itself from beginning to end. They are designed, developed and implemented fully in the house, which is a very good thing because Prada is considered one of the companies working in fashion, both in his native Italy and throughout the world. Their name is synonymous with style and elegance, and their handbags evoke images of women who command the attention with grace and attitude.
The company began in Italy in 1913 by Mario Prada, and was known by the Italian Prada for the Brothers Fratelli Prada. The company began to develop faster and its famous leather goods and handbags after his arrival on the market, and it is only a small amount of time before the company received a large scope. Its products were hits in Europe and the USA. As business grew, the company opened two small shops in Milan, so that it can sell its genuine products, such as handbags, shoes and luggage.
Over time, the company has become symbols handbags luxury, style and elegance in the fashion industry. Reviewer after reviewer raved about Prada's ease and taste, and in time the whole world started to want to have the idiosyncratic handbags. Despite the fame more and more, these handbags classic has remained faithful to things that have been central to their original design, simple and functional, but also much good taste and class.
Although Prada handbags have remained faithful to their origins, it would be a mistake to think that they have not evolved over time. The original handbags made of walrus hide, which is extremely heavy. Designers quickly realized that it was not quite practical tote around the heavy hide, so they began to increase the use of fine quality leather handbags and accessories handbag, but they did not stop there. One of the first things the company did was water handbags and luggage.
Even today, the company designers are constantly looking for new high-tech fabrics and other materials to improve the quality of their products and have used items such as crystals, wood, even shell turtle to add to the atmosphere in handbags past. Given the quality of these handbags, should be no surprise that they are still highly sought, bought and sold throughout the world.
But today, success does not come without a struggle. With all the fashion industry in decline during the 1970's, Prada, and suffered. But at that time, the company was acquired by Miuccia Prada, and she led the company since 1978. Ms. Prada is hailed for his sense of fashion and it was she who led the company through time uncertain of the seventies of a dominant position in the market today.
But with much success in fashion comes the problem of counterfeiters. Today, cheap knock-off and pretend Prada handbags are sold in the streets throughout Italy and the world. This is perhaps because of the willingness of people with the status of one of these handbags without having to pay the price. Add to the equation of the company and elegant symbol design minimum and there is a problem for those who want the real article, because it can take someone with experience to tell the fake reality of the bags hand.
