Advertising through Google Adwords can be very lucrative on one hand but also very expensive and a money loser on the other. The key here is to find a niche market or zero in on certain keywords with low competition. This strategy is particularly important for beginning marketers. It allows him to build credit with Google. The more CTR the affiliate advertiser gets, the cheaper his payment per click will be.
Markets that one should avoid are markets with high competition. They offer very high commissions and therefore everybody, but everybody is trying to advertise in these markets.
If you are a beginner with no experience, try to avoid advertising online casinos( which is also forbidden to promote through Google Adwords Google ), diet pills, loans, credit cards and anti- spyware/virus software.
Try market these products after you get some experience in Google AdWords and have built a few other successful campaigns. After being experienced enough, Google will credit you according to your CTR history.
So when you begin marketing though Google Adwords try selecting niche products. Not only that: try choosing a niche market as narrow as possible. Don't forget that what seems like a narrow niche market to you is a wide-open one on the Internet. That's the beauty of Internet: it's got billions of users. A ?small? Internet niche market can translate into a few million.
