With a plethora of services providers in the market, the need for specialized field services has increased manifold. A field service company typically caters to this growing requirement. The service menu differs widely and may encompass the entire gamut of services from managing the inventory, maintaining infrastructure, providing manpower and running operations. At the present juncture there are one set of experts who recommend an integrated approach whereas another group terms such an exercise as futile, inefficient and costly.
