There really is no getting away from artificial flavoring. The last I heard, they were using artificial colors to turn processed ham pink. Being in the pink of health acquired a new meaning with that revelation. Should we really steer clear of artificial foods and flavors in all their forms? For years we have been hearing complaints about the deteriorating quality of the food we eat. Most often, this deterioration has been attributed to their chemical content. This raises one question: is it possible to live life in a completely organic way?
A few years ago it may not have been possible to go completely organic. However, these days we have access to stores that specialize in organic food. We do not need to keep on slowly poisoning ourselves. An organic diet is far more nutritious than the diets that we have been depending upon for decades now. One of the factors that add to the nutrient value of organic foods is the fact that these are completely natural. Organic foods represent a return to Mother Nature and a repudiation of the hundreds of chemicals that have been poisoning our foods since the start of the factory system.
The proponents of organic food claim that nothing could taste more delicious. Moreover, the fact that organic food is completely free of chemicals suggests that it is healthier. Cattle that are raised in the organic way are less likely to have been fed all sorts of chemicals. Hence, one can assume that dairy products made from their milk will be significantly healthier. It is stated that vegetables and fruits that are grown on organic farms are healthier as they contain far more nutrients than are contained in veggies that are intensively farmed.
There are many benefits to going the organic way. Organic farming is far less harmful to our environment. In this day and age, when the environment is under grave threats from all quarters, even a small step towards incorporating its well-being into our lifestyle should be appreciated. As a result of its non-reliance on chemical fertilizers, the farm hands on organic farms are less likely to suffer health problems. The respiratory diseases that strike workers on the conventional farms are quite rare among those on organic ones.
However, are we really ready to go natural in a big way? Organic food usually costs significantly more than the food grown on conventional farms. Are we willing to add to our expenses by going completely organic? Now, that is the question we should be asking ourselves.
Organic And Natural Products
I have personally experienced the drastic differences between prescription drugs and all natural products. I was diagnosed with A.D.H.D. at a very young age and the doctors immediate solution was to prescribe ritalin. Knowing of no other solution my parents had me take ritalin from the 2nd grade all the way to the 7th grade. The medication served it's purpose of keeping me calm, (or zambi like), but it also took away my ambition! Ambition is very closely linked to desire and as most of you know desire is the key to success. Not only was this drug detrimental to my develpoement, but it made me feel so down and unmotivated to the point where I got slightly depressed. I knew that I wasn't supposed to feel this way. There had to be an alternate solution to taking a drug for my disability!
The Incedent That Forced A Change
When i was in the 7th grade I experienced an incedent with ritalin that forced me to look for an alternative solution to the stimulant.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting in my reading class and I had just got back from the nurses office, (after taking my morning dosage). I was on a new type of ritalin pill called slow release, which is designed to slowly release the stimulant into my system over a period of 12 hours. I was sitting in class when my heart began to beat extremely rapid. (I know it sounds funny, but reading was always my worst subject coming up), so when I notified my teacher about my condition she assumed I was just trying to get out of class. As my heart kept speeding up my hands began to shake and well... she figured out that this was no con operation. I was ok and there was no serious damage to my body and there was later an explination for why this happened... but that was "the straw that broke the camels back". (And just to clear things up... I was giving regular ritalin pills by the pharmacy instead of slow release).
After about 6 years of suffering and not allowing myself to tap into my true state of being or (homeostasis, The ability or tendency of an organism or cell to maintain internal equilibrium by adjusting its physiological processes), and a dramatic experience, I decided to take an All Natural Route of controling my A.D.H.D..
A Decision To Go The Natural Route
When looking for advice on how to take the natural route I turned to my Grandparents who were in their 70's and (they used no "drugs"), and they were very healthy; infact they went hiking daily, so I knew natural herbs... roots... fruits... ect... worked well! They steered me in the direction of a fish oil capsule called Omega-3, which improved the way I felt 100% and improved my concentration as well! I no longer needed ritalin as a stimulant and ofcourse there were no side effect. My concentration levels had improved drastically and in combination with my multivitamin I thought I had pretty much covered all angles, but when I found Tunguska Blast and took it in combination with omega-3 I was complete! My concentration levels were at an ultimate high and I felt stress free. I can't say for sure that my body has reached a complete state of homeostasis( withought running a tun of tests), but I can tell you that I can't remmember the last time I've been sick or stressed out!
Your Solution
If you know there must be another alternative, to taking prescription medicine that only seems to prolong the problems and never really gets to the source, then you are in luck! There is an All Natural Product that will get to (the root of a lot of todays common illnesses, which is STRESS. So my question is how much or how important is your health to you really? Don't you want to live a stress free life that you can enjoy for many years to come?
