o Have you heard music playing when you can not detect the source?

If so, you are probably an intuitive with an open auditory communication channel. Remember, these whispers will be from a loving place offering positive guidance, encouragement and insight into your life.

What Does It Mean to be a Hearing Intuitive?

Each of us were born with several channels of intuitive communication that allow us to sense, feel and hear our intuitive messages from the Divine.

This ability to receive intuitive messages from a higher power can occur through many other different channels including our acute sense of hearing?clairaudience'as voices, sounds or music either internally or externally to ourselves.

Voices:

Intuitive messages can be received in the form of voices from unknown persons or beings, your own voice or the voice of a loved one. One of my greatest experiences with clairaudience occurred two years ago while I was working at home. The house was completely quiet and I was engrossed in my work. Suddenly I heard my father's voice call my name as though he were sitting right next to me on the sofa. I jumped, looked around, but no one was there. I called my mom and learned that my father was in the hospital waiting to find out if he had suffered a heart attack.

Music:

Have you ever found yourself humming or singing a song, only to turn on the radio to the music of the very same song? Or maybe you've heard music that seemed to be delivered out of thin air, no radios, CD players or TV. If you pay attention to these occurrences, you will be surprised by the messages you are receiving that are poignantly relative to your current life experience. Perhaps the song you were humming brought beautiful memories of a loved one who has passed over; or a very direct message was spelled out to you in a song on the radio.

Sounds:

Random sounds can appear out of no where to point your attention in a particular direction, to provide a warning sign or sign of support. Do you find yourself hearing noises in your car or in your home that no one else can hear? Have you later learned that those sounds led you to discover an important repair that was needed to ensure your safety?

No matter the audio message you receive, it is completely up to you what you choose to do with it?free will. However, paying attention and noticing these Divinely presented messages can improve your life, ease the flow of abundance and prosperity and help you experience life without life experiencing you!

How Can you Sharpen You Hearing Sense?

When we dampen one of our senses, the others become stronger, heightened and more active. When an individual looses their eye sight their sense of sound and smell become heightened. In the following exercise you will temporarily dampen your sense of sight to sharpen your auditory channel.

What Do You Hear?

Sit comfortably in a quiet place either indoors or outdoors.

Place a dark blindfold over your eyes to block out all elements of light.

Close your eyes and truly listen to the world around you.

What do you hear?

o If you are outside, can you hear the breeze gently blowing the snow across the ground?

+ Can you hear the distant barking of a dog, or the gentle rattling of your neighbour's fence?

o If you are inside, can you detect the sounds of the refrigerator gently humming in the background?

+ Do you hear the sounds of your home? The furnace, the pipes, the hum of the flourescent lights?

Spend at least 5 to 10 minutes 2-3 times each week simply listening and you will discover that your hearing will become sharper and more finely tuned to the messages of your own intuition.

My wish for you is that you will consciously stop for a moment throughout your day and listen: be in the present moment and really pay attention to the world that is happening all around you. You might just be surprised by the messages you will receive!
