Pictures Of A Yeast Infection

    View:
There are several points of correlation between yeast infections and sperm. In answer to he question, “Does a yeast infection kill sperm?”—Yes, according to some it can possibly kill sperm before it can reach the uterus. Actually, the thick cheesy discharge that is a product of a yeast infection coupled wit the cream that is used to cure the infection can kill sperm. Now, this is only one answer to this question—some experts contend that a yeast infection cannot directly affect a woman’s chances of being impregnated. These experts just remark that the irritability, itching, and burning of the yeast infection can get a woman out of the proper mood for sex—and, of course, with abstinence, there is no chance for fertility other than using an artificial method. Of course, this irritability has nothing to do with sperm. There are infections similar to a yeast infection that can change the acidity of your birth canal (vagina). This can definitely hinder your chance of conceiving because the sperm has a harder time getting to the egg. A yeast infection normally does not change this acidity in the vagina—the vaginal acid can actually keep the Candida fungus (which causes yeast infection) from growing out of control. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia are two infections that have a yeast infection similarity—these are the two culprits that slow down the sperm by means of changing the acidity in the vagina.

Does a yeast infection kill sperm? I don’t know—it really is confusing. It depends on how you look at it and most of all whose opinion you are listening to. Experts say “Yes” and experts say “No” in answer to this question.

Now, let’s talk about spermicides---another correlation between yeast infection and sperm. A spermicide is an agent directly intended for the killing of sperm. There is one such medication known for its effectiveness in the prevention of the spreading of AIDS. This particular spermicide—nonoxynol 9 can increase the risk of yeast infection. So this sort of twists the question, “Does a yeast infection kill sperm?” around. The answer could be “Maybe” or “Maybe not” but there is a spermicide that is connected with the aggravation of yeast infection.

I have seen this question answered in even another manner. An expert who was asked this question directly answered directly, “No”—just as solidly as the “Yes” answer earlier.  This person went on to say that, although a yeast infection could not directly kill sperm, there are particular medications for yeast infection that can slow down the movement of the sperm on its way to the uterus through the birth canal.

In conclusion, in answer to the question, “Does a yeast infection kill sperm?”—the answer is “Yes”—the thick discharge and medication cream can kill sperm. The answer is also, “No”—a yeast infection does not kill sperm, the sperm is just slowed down in travel by some yeast infection medicines. Take your choice of these two answers to a terribly confusing subject. I do know that sperm, yeast infections, fertility, and spermicides all have a definite correlation between them.

Is it OK to use tampons if I have yeast infection? This question often arises with my customers. Although the opinions of medical specialists on this question may differ, there is a lot of information to suggest that there is a negative association between using tampons and this particular problem. Many popular medical articles even put the blame on tampons as being the cause of yeast infections.

However, it is a fact that tampons cannot be the cause of yeast infection. The agent behind this ailment, also known as candidiasis or candida infection, is the Candida microorganism that multiplies out of bounds. Candida are microscopic elements that live naturally in a human body that is healthy, but that are kept in check by the beneficial bacteria living in our bodies which help us to digest food and to defend ourselves from other bacteria, parasites or viruses. Yet in certain circumstances, which include pregnancy, antibiotics, diabetes and other conditions that sap the immune system, Candida seizes the opportunity to over grow. Candida then penetrates the blood circulation and moves around to various parts of the body, generating the symptoms of candidiasis.

The real causes of Candida are complex and involve many factors. Toiletries on their own are not the sole factor. However tampons that are scented, or the use of scented soaps, hygiene sprays and the like can all stimulate yeast infection of the vagina. The reasons include the following:

1. Scented tampons are known to be allergens. Because of this and the higher frequency of allergies, the immune system may be weakened and this will then increase the chance of a candida overgrowth.

2. Scented toiletries can also alter the acidity of the vagina making it more acid and stimulating candidiasis. The right ratio of negatively charged ions (alkaline) and positively charged ions (acid) must be observed. If the balance is upset, then health problems will follow.

This then means that you have very good reasons to prefer unscented soaps, tampons, pants, panty liners, toilet paper or sanitary pads. Your choice should always be for organic products and hypoallergenic products wherever available.

It is a full holistic treatment that will really work to eliminate Candida infection rather than just this small part of avoiding products that might be responsible for allergies. Although making careful selection of the tampons and toiletries product is necessary, it is not sufficient to fight yeast infection properly.

A comprehensive all-natural holistic agenda is the only real solution to curing the inner and outer problems of the yeast infection and for permanently eradicating Candida. Did you hear the news? Your candida infection which might be causing you pain and distress can now be permanently treated with a holistic all-natural treatment.
