A sure way to get a lot of candy is to pay visits to the homes of trusted friends and neighbors as well as family members.

Let the older children look after the younger ones. Younger kids enjoy being able to spend time with their older brothers and sisters. Here's something that will give you an edge on Halloween. Latch a younger child to an older one for going around the surrounding areas. The older child can keep an eye on traffic and watch out for suspicious people.

Talk with your children before heading out. The children need to be made aware of certain basic principals for safety, each child should watch when he has to cross the street,should not talk to people not known to him ,unless you are with him,and also watch out for and dangerous dogs.
