Print Color Business Cards

    View:
Declan inherited his business from his father, a butcher's shop in Dublin's Moore St. He did very well at first but then the supermarkets began to make their inevitable inroad into the business. It was slow at first and Declan used every trick he could think of to keep his customers. He boasted the freshest of meat, a steady banter kept his lady customer's amused and then there were the meat auctions. Yes, Declan's shop offered good entertainment and humor for the ladies from the Liberties, Parnell Street and the flats on Gadiner Street, but it was no good. Profits sank, expenses soared and the bank struck! Declan found himself out of business.

He was left with a bit of capital but it would dwindle swiftly unless he did something to turn the situation around. First there was network marketing. Bottled water was the business of the future and some unscrupulous entrepreneur from England relieved Declan of some more of the shriveling cash that the ex-master butcher could ill afford. But then he had an idea. He had had lots of ideas over the years ranging from antique dealing to photography, but it was photography that leaped out at him with a flash!

Declan hit upon he idea of driving around the city with his camera, after all he had nothing else to do and his wife wanted him out of the house during daylight hours. He started taking color photographs of business premises, you know the sort of thing: pubs and restaurants etc., and heaven knows Dublin is full of scenic pubs. He waited until the light was just right and would always look for the ideal angle even though it might entail wading out into the middle of the canal at Portobello.

Always the redoubtable salesman, Declan, would take the finished photograph around to the business's proprietor and offer to produce a colored photographic business card. Shop owners, publicans and restaurateurs loved the idea, as most were very proud of their buildings and Declan could take a good picture. Soon he had a flourishing enterprise photographing and selling his business cards. Sometimes his customers were slow in paying, but that's Dublin for you.

Some of the cards were much sought after and in some cases people began to collect them. Without a shadow of doubt colored business cards did make a difference both to Declan and his clients. The ex-meat vendor made enough money to support his family and his customers found their business burgeoning as a result of Declan's attractive colored photographic business cards.
Print Color Business Cards
One of the most effective and least costly marketing tools you could ever use is color business cards. In view of its importance and effectiveness, you should always take time to ensure they get printed with the exact details which you wanted on them. Otherwise, it will lose its effectiveness and you would end up wasting your hard earned money. You need to make sure it contains all important information like your company or business name, your company's logo, your name and designation, address, e-mail, telephone, fax numbers and anything else you would want on it.

Do not muddle your color business cards. It is worth to pay for a professional artist to design your business card for you if you do not possess artistic or creative talents. You can have your cards printed with colored ink or on colored paper to make them stand out or use gold or silver foil on shiny black stock instead of the standard white stock. Color certainly calls attention to your business card and makes it stand out. It also helps to convey a highly professional image.

The investment of a few hundred dollars to have highly professional color business cards will more than pay for itself. Professionally designed color business cards help you to re-inforce your professional image to your potential clients. They would perceive you as having a high quality image because your business card is of premium quality. Your potential clients would be re-assured that they are dealing with a reputable company and personnel. As such, they are more likely to trust and to do business with you.

If you can not afford to print color business cards due to budget constraint, you could always consider getting free business cards from VistaPrint. They offer color business cards on heavy paper stock, with a wide-variety of designs. The only draw back for the free cards is they print their logo and "Business Cards are free at VistaPrint.com" on the back of the card near the bottom. If you are happy with this arrangement, all you would need to pay is shipping costs. This starts at around five dollars, which is very reasonable.

No doubt, color business cards are gaining more and more importance. Many people feel they need to have color on their business cards to help them convey their high professional image. If you need color business cards to convey message about your business, then use it to your advantage. The extra costs for printing is really minimal when compared to what you could potentially gain i.e more business, higher professional image, higher self confidence, just to name a few.
