Colosseum

This is a must-see monument in Rome. Remember seeing gladiators fighting for their lives in the movies? This is the real deal. It's a real amphitheater that was used by gladiators many years ago. Just standing in the Forum, you get a good feel of how majestic and powerful Rome was back in ancient times.

Baths of Caracalla

This is an imperial bathing complex, which means that only important people get to bath here. It is one of the best preserved bathing complex. From the materials and designs of the complex, you can easily see that it must have been a grand experience for the imperial staff who used to bath in this complex. Of course, water is no longer running.
