Do you see how easy, logical and, should I dare say, empirical this argument becomes when you look at the world through your physical senses? If we were purely physical beings there would be no other logical conclusion than to assume that we are all separate from one another and that there is really no other way to see this obvious deduction.



So in order to make any sense about the concept that ?We are all one? you must go beyond the physical into realms that connect us in some other way. What I am saying is that you don't have to go very far to do this and once you do stretch yourself to see these other dimensions of self, the conclusion once again becomes very obvious, but this time in favor of the irrefutable fact that ?We are all one?.

Let's play at this for a minute and see where it takes us.

New Age thinking, which has been around since the beginning of time, tells us that we are not just a one dimensional being known as a physical body. If you were merely a physical body, then you would be not much more than any other animal that roams this earth. The thing that separates the human species from all the other animal species is this ability we have to think and then use those thoughts to not only analyze the world we live in but to also ask ourselves the eternal questions of ?Who Am I? and ?Why Am I Here??

The birds, the bees, the buffalos and the trees just don't have that capacity. It is our thoughts that make this human experience unique in the entire universe. So that very fact of our existence takes us beyond the one dimension concept of physicality because these thoughts that are the driver of our experiences are not physical.

Thoughts are non-physical and therefore we are at the very least a two-dimensional being, physical and non-physical. We have a physical body that experiences and we have a non-physical aspect that receives and gives out thoughts.

So where do these thoughts come from and where do they go?

We live in a vast physical universe that defines our physical existence so it is not too far of a stretch to believe that we also live within a vast non-physical universe of thought which is the dominant dimension of this concept called our ?mind?. This infinite storehouse of all the thoughts that we receive and send out could easily be called ?The Universal Mind.?

If this ?Thought Library? that we call the ?Universal Mind? makes so much sense then we could also easily conclude that there is a head librarian who is responsible for the existence of this library. This concept of a master librarian takes us to the final part of the equation of self, the meta-physical part of our beingness.

New-Ager's describe this as a three-part being made up of our physical bodies, our non-physical minds and our meta-physical spirit or soul. It is this spirit or soul that connects us to the source of all of existence, seen and unseen.

We live in the seen, the physical universe and occupy this very physical planet called earth. We call forth and send out information via our unseen thoughts in the non-physical universe called the universal mind. We connect it all together under the omnipresent observation of our meta-physical spirit.

It is at these higher levels of our consciousness, our non-physical and meta-physical aspects of self that we see the interconnectedness of our physical existence. We are all one at the highest levels of awareness and therefore what we do for ourselves we do for all others and what we do for others we do for ourselves.

At the highest levels of our consciousness ?We are all One.?
