But when you have to venture out, make sure you take the necessary precautions and try as much as possible to cover most of your exposed skin by wearing wide hats, long-sleeved shirts, and long pants.

Applying sunscreen or a variety of sun-blocking agents is recommended. Some are just for the lips and face. Others are for more general-purpose use. It is essential to reapply the sun screen often for effective protection.
