Target The Right Promotional Pens

What are their likes and dislikes, where do they go, what do they think of in a positive light, what would they be using your pen for, what is the age range, what is the income range, what is the type of job, what is the education level? These are all questions you should be considering the instant you decided you wanted to set up a promotional pen order.

Answering all of the relevant questions will likely take quite a bit of time, so here's a few tips to make it easier on you. As far as colors go, you can never go wrong with your company's logo colors, however, if you want to make a particular mood or impact with your pens, you can go with this guide. For younger folk, go with bright and bold colors, something that stands out and is unique. Many young adults are seeking their identities at this time and like things that help them stand out. Even something as small as a uniquely designed and colored pen can do the trick more often than not, and cement you in their mind as 'someone who understands'.

Your typical consumer range tend to be women, unless you have a non standard demographic that your company caters to. You will want to be as gender neutral as possible when marketing to larger audiences, so can the pink pens for now (unless it's October) and go with colors that anyone can appreciate.

With your higher end business partners and clients, you will want something classy, yet still unique. Promotional pens are one of the most common forms of promotional products, so you will really want to stand out in design, quality, and coloration. If you can get all of those right, chances are you will win over your new found corporate clients and business partners. Even if you don't quite get it right, but you still show that you are making the effort, that can often be enough to get you noticed for your enthusiasm and drive.

By approaching your promotional pens campaign in a methodical light, you are able to better target your advertising to all different demographics that your company caters to. You won't have to flail around in the dark with a bunch of hit or miss campaigns ? you'll just get a hole in one right away, saving you time and money.
