Unless of course you have a player which has a built in capacity to recognize multi-layered blu-ray discs.

Blu-ray discs are flexible. They can play in properly formatted disc players. You will not encounter much problems in terms of utilizing video formats on blu-ray discs. But you should also learn that it is still regulated under legal and lawful procedures. However, that would not stop you from enjoying blu-ray disc copies especially if you are waiting for your favorite flick to finally be available in disc format. Yet you should not forget to adhere to legal policies as well, and blu-ray surely does respect such legal proceedings.
