Though Miwok Indians had called the area home for thousands of years, it was not until 1775 that the city got its name. Tiburon, which means "shark" in Spanish, was named by Lt. The Three Degrees Restaurant is the newest full service bar and restaurant to open at the Lodge. Designed to be warm and cozy, the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining, with a rustic rough-hewn bar and a river rock dcor. The food, prepared by Chef Daren Robey, is a delicious fusion of seasonal fair and savory flavor. It is interesting that Three Degrees is the only restaurant in the area that serves no trans fats.
