Racial Discrimination has been something that has been dictating the planet ever since one can remember, it has resulted in so many anecdotes so many and leaders and reminiscences. There are times when we have shook hearing the fate of some people, of how they were harmed. Racial Discrimination was something that each and everyone hoped to move away and not be connected with. There have been many rules that were made to make sure that all ethnic groups were seen in the same and a handful were really victorious too.
But there are examples when it can work the other way, there are times when there is reverse racial discrimination, and that is when someone from the majority get treated badly or something of the order of prejudice. These are very tiny in number, but they are really important. This is where the power of the written rules comes in handy. Under the rules ?No One? is allowed to be treated unfairly because of their creed, and it is not only for the minority groups.
There have been instances when employers have not renewed contracts with white workers because they wanted to give jobs to black people, for reasons of their own. And there are victims who have gone to court and victims have come out victorious, thus confirming that the law is above all. It is important for people to realize that all of us are the same and this holds true for any condition.
There was a well-known law suit of a White News anchor being sacked because the television needed a a person for the minority as a news anchor to please the people.
It is very important for employers to know this too, they cannot sack a person just because of his ethnic origin, and employers are free to give a steady and valid explanation. And no employer should be under the impression that they cannot be charged for being unfair to a person from a majority.
It is time for mankind to observe and understand that there are much more sides to a dilemma, that there are so many other humans tormented too. And again, the strength of law should never again be taken too lightly.
The Other Side Of The Coin
All the hype about Larry Craig’s demise leaves something out. Conspicuously missing is the attention that should have been paid to the appalling habits, the seedy haunts and inconvenient places gays have chosen to further their sleazy activities. But lets not forget that just as the undercover cop who nabbed Larry Craig, may have never expected to nab a U.S. Senator; neither did the gays who frequent the stalls at the airport bathroom. Their preferred targets, victims, would be younger men perhaps even underage. Just like your sons.
The other side of this coin then is “what the hay are gays adding to our public bathrooms, our country and our image to the rest of the world." The mayor of one Florida town says they are adding nothing at all.
The mayor of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Jim Naugle has had gays in an uproar since his remarks about stepping up security and taking severe steps toward stopping all gay activity in the stalls. Although not all are related to gay activity, the 92 arrests in the college break town have shown that there is a dangerous trend afoot.
With fears of a gay backlash and their refusal to visit the city that rakes in big bucks with gay tourists the Boston Globe, August 31, 2007 said “The visitor’s bureau typically sets aside $350,000 of its $5 million advertising budget for marketing targeted at gays, but earmarked $450,000 this year because it was deemed a growth market. Officials said they may need to spend even more, perhaps dip into a reserve kept in case of a hurricane, to combat Naugle's comments."
For some Americans this is hard to imagine. Dipping into a hurricane relief fund to bolster the advertising budget allocated to attract gays to one of our cities? This sounds like something out of “Ripley’s Believe it or Not" or an edict from hell.
For over thirty five years now I have warned that the economy of this country is in danger of a collapse that will make the stock market crash of “29" look like nothing. I it is hard to understand how an economic crash could chasten or purify anyone until now. It is easier to understand in the light of the Boston article. The best thing that Ft. Lauderdale could have happen to them is that they had no money at all, for anything. Don’t worry that is what is coming.
I am in good company with the Rev David Wilkerson, founder of the Times Square Church in New York who also had a revelation of an impending economic collapse in America. But with or without Wilkerson’s company I now see both the necessity of such demise and the nearness of it. The necessity is based on “if you can’t pay you can’t play" and the nearness is based on “it’s already gone too far."
It must be noted that neither the Minneapolis Airport bathrooms nor those in Ft. Lauderdale are the problem alone. Public bathrooms across the nation are now one of the favorites of the gay sleaze spots. Why all the attention on a single U.S. Senator and so little for the gay trend? That’s easy to answer as we approach an election year. We are also approaching a year of judgment but few will be aware of that.
To wit; “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Mt 24: 37-39
