The Shortest Verse In The Bible

The Middle verse in chapter (9) of the Old Testament says:" And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh."

The Middle verse in chapter (9) of the New Testament says:" And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples."

The Middle verse in chapter (9) of the Noble Quran says:" And if thou ask them (o Muhammad), they will say: 'we were only plunging and playing. 'Say: 'were you mocking Allah, his verses, and his messenger? "

Chapter one in the Old Testament is Genesis (9); it is composed of 29 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 15

It says:

Genesis 9:15 (King James Version)

Chapter one in the New Testament is Matthew (9); it is composed of 38 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 19

It says:

Chapter one in the Noble Quran is AL-TAWBA, BARA'AH (REPENTANCE); it is composed of 129 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 65

It says:

AL-TAWBA 9:65

And if thou ask them (o Muhammad), they will say: 'we were only plunging and playing. 'Say: 'were you mocking Allah, his verses, and his messenger?

This is a prophecy that the unbeliever will mock about Allah, His Messenger(s) and His verses.

The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the Old Testament says:" And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth."

The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the New Testament says:" That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." However, Esaias did not say that in the Old Testament!

The Middle verse in chapter (8) of the Noble Quran says:" say to the unbelievers that if they abandon their ways he will forgive them what is past; but, if they return, that was indeed the way of their forefathers who have passed away."

Chapter one in the Noble Quran is AL-ANFAL (SPOILS OF WAR); it is composed of 75 verses.

The Middle verse is that number 38

It says:

AL-ANFAL 8:38

Say to the unbelievers that if they abandon their ways he will forgive them what is past; but, if they return, that was indeed the way of their forefathers who have passed away.

This verse gives a merciful chance for the unbeliever abandon their ways so that Allah will forgive them.

Also, the verse encourages us to read the history to know what happened to the unbelievers throughout the history!
