Ugly Betty's upcoming episode entitled "Nice Day for a Posh Wedding" will feature Vanessa Williams' character Wilhelmina Slater marrying Bradford Meade (Alan Dale). In real life, the singer, actress, former beauty queen and businesswoman is rumored to be the newest woman behind Vince Vaughn, the man who appeared in movies such as The Break Up and Into the Wild.
Apparently, recent reports have claimed that Vanessa Williams has now replaced Jennifer Aniston's place as Vince Vaughn's girlfriend. Showbiz Spy reports that the two has been "spotted sneaking around Los Angeles together. It's early days but they really like each other and are determined to make it last."
Williams, who separated from her recent husband, Rick Fox in 2004, blamed the breaking down of her relationship on the interference of the media and press. This time, the Ugly Betty star is sure not to commit the same mistakes, and keep the media out of her relationship with Vaughn.
"Vanessa is really trying to keep this a secret," the report claimed. "She feels that the press helped ruin her relationship with Rick, so she's trying to keep what she has with Vince private."
In other news regarding Vanessa Williams, the 44-year-old former Miss America titleholder has recently closed a lucrative deal with the acne medicine company of which she is a spokesperson for. Word has it that the deal with Proactiv Solution is actually worth $20 million, and that it will guarantee Williams $3 million per year for five years. She will also participate in the development of a cosmetics line for the company.
"Vanessa has renewed her contract with Proactiv and will be involved in line extensions, including make-up," Brad Cafarelli, a longtime representative for Williams confirmed to The BV Newswire. However, he said that they "do not confirm financial figures."
Aside from Vanessa Williams, celebrities such as Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sean ?Diddy? Combs, Alicia Keys and Serena Williams have also become spokespersons for Proactiv.
