It tries to be alluring and advanced, although flounders dismally in spite of Plummer and Smith's attempts. Alex in Wonderland: Camcorder follows youthful film controller Sutherland through boredom of his everyday life. Self-indulgent clone of Fellini who appears concisely induced some wags to dub this weak film. Burstyn stands out as Sutherland's spouse. Cast includes Donald Sutherland, Ellen Burstyn, Viola Spolin, Federico Fellini and Jeanne Moreau. (109 minutes, 1970)
Two Marines are being held responsible for the death of a fellow marine. They claim they were ordered to punish private Santiago, and his death was not intended. Lt. Daniel Kaffee will try to save the marines and get to the bottom of the case.
Bulletproof: A racial inversion of 48 Hours without the reclaiming craft. Covert cop Wayans teams up with Sandler, the crook he's trying to bust. Their large sums of cash and aspirations are magnified, often acrimoniously-by a sinister medication kingpin/automobile trader played by a pitiful Hauncy Caan. A once awesome cinematographer Dickerson wastes his ability shooting this movie. Cast includes Adam Sandler, Damon Wayans, James Caan, Kristen Wilson, James Farentino, Bill Nunn, and Jeep Swenson. Air Force: Archetypal WW2 film, concentrating on archetypal bomber tea. Hard to the abdomen at times "Fried Jap Going Down," chimes Tobias after scoring a hit, although commonly stimulating, well finished. Cast includes John Garfield, John Ridgely, Concert Youthful, Arthur Kennedy, Charles Drake, Harry Carey, George Tobias, and Faye Emerson. (124 minutes, 1943)
F/X2: Special effects man Rollie Tyler is brought out of retirement to help catch a killer. It is his girlfriend's ex-husband Mike, a cop, who asks for help. Everything is going well when out of nowhere an unknown person winds up killing both Mike and the killer they were trying to catch.
Saw Two: Sadistic continuation finds fiendish mastermind "Jigsaw" keeping a group of "outsiders" prisoner in a spooky, booby-snared home. Lots of gore for fans, as the sufferers race the watch when a fatal fuel fi1ls their lungs. Wahlberg is the steel cop on the case, although could he match brains with this twirled madman? Cast includes Darren Lynn Bousman, Donnie Wahlberg, Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Frank G. Glenn Plummer, Dina Meyer, Emmanuel Vaugier, Beverley Mitchel, Erik Knudsen, and Tim Burd. (102 minutes, 1966)
